Google Voice transcription could use some work still. According to the email notification I just received, someone left me this message a few minutes ago:

Hi Pat and north side ground. And I'm always down in North State Street playing. I'm actually on the moon alright, but obviously regards to know that you I don't see on the way back, we'll have a look at some of the alright. Bye.

Wow! The memories come rushing back. In no particular order either.

Anyone want to look over a circiut for me?

I'm away from my main PC so no graphics..

Let's say I don't have a way to get a tach signal from the COP's.

So take the 5v output off of each of the spark circiuts on the MS and feed them to a BIP373 with diodes inline. Take the output of the BIP373 and use it to drive the tach (old oem mazda tach that was originally driven buy the negative side of a single coil)

I could physically draw up a schematic and take a picture but otherwise I'm PC-less till next week.

your coils only have 3 pins?

all you need is three diodes:

Access to the tach from the coils is not an option unfortunetly, otherwise id use the above circut as I have before on my ZE with coilpacks.

I'm stuck with the logic level output of the MS. the way the megamanual suggest fixing this is to use the primary side of a relay to produce the pulse the tach needs, but this seems silly if I have a BIP373 sitting here collecting dust. I was simply looking for a 2nd set of eyes on the actually circiut working before I get out the soldering iron.

that's the spark trigger, so spark A and spark B directly out of the MS.

here's an old read: https://www.miataturbo.net/showthrea...highlight=tach

Hhmm, I always assumed the circut in the megamanual was for use on the output of the ignitor.

Either way thanks for the read, that will come in handy tonight.

After 2 days of bitch work I just finished cleaning up at the shop. The other boss comes back Monday and the place was a ******* disaster.

Now the next step is to try and update the place a little. I hope to have some signs made in the next week or so, followed by a set of security cameras.

I almost had my hands on a forklift but the guy that owns it is a scammer so I'm gonna pass on it. He had it marked at $3000 and I offered $1000. He turns around to say he'll take $1500 for it, but it needs a switch in order to run. I didnt know it wasn't working, otherwise I wouldn't have even made the offer. I don't want someone else's headache.

Again...WTF!

I'm in for the new "B" rated slasher film. This could be Rutger Hauer's finest performance since Blade Runner.

LOL at living on the streets and needing money for a lawnmower.
