They make the hardware used to assemble the Saturn V rocket look dirt cheap.

Actually, have you looked at the price of dirt recently? It's actually not dirt cheap anymore.

That said, searching Google for "dirt cheap" produces some interesting results, mostly chicken-and-liquor-related.

It says something about Missouri that when the town flooded, the ONE business that they managed to save was the discount liquor store...

Which means there should be a XXX store within a 250ft radius of the chicken place.

Still chasing down lean spots...

It looks like I need to add more fuel 1-4k rpm and while under more load off boost.

Recent behavior has been.. It spikes up to high 16s AFR after shifting in this range off boost. But quickly settles back down. If I apply more throttle it goes just a tad bit higher but I'm probably hitting a different load area in the same rpm range.

Moving the AIT to the intercooler is on my todo list when I have more funds and a place to do such things. Higher temps definitely cause the AFRs to spike to the 17-18 range on a hot day when shifting+load. Seems to settle down after cruising for a bit, but is worse after sitting at a light.

Removing 2* timing across the entire rpm under 30 load has been wonderful for daily driving. Car feels a lot more driveable and non hesitant to spool as long as I have enough fuel to avoid lean bog after clutch engage.

TPS map controlling closed/open loop load situations is pretty on point. But I need to be on a dyno to know where exactly boost comes online to go open loop. Keeping all 0's across the bottom is great for decel/fuel cut. It hasn't been a issue since previous changes.

Now, the few times I actually DO go into boost ~5psi. Are damn right scary with the 2860 . Watching the AFRs and not the speed or the road in a straight . Praying the timing is 'ok'... which I know is a dumb approach. I seem to get varied results on AFR... Sometimes 13 to 12, other times a solid 11.8. I guess it's just where I'm at in the map. When I do get those 11.8 runs, the pulls are butter smooth

/tuning blindly, ramble

Are you sure you don't simply need a new alternator?

Alt is brand new NAPA unit. Voltages are normal. Heatsoak is real

And a 'real' ECU is much needed but funds are limited and other life aspects have taken over like getting my own place & paying off debts. So this is what I have for now. Goal being, just run it conservative on timing, only adjust fuels to avoid knock. Pass ODBII & Change out my 10/15 sticker Avoid cops at all costs in the mean time.

Stopped drinking & started to goto the gym in the meantime because it's free so why not take advantage.

We had to stop doing **** like this in our office because it escalated to the point of mutually assured destruction and it started effecting our ability to do our jobs.

But holy ****, that's rude

I once switched the 2 top boxes of 2 of the night shift mechanics tool boxes that sit right next to each other. They are each personalized(stickers and far-side clippings, etc.), so its easy to tell whos whos. I came in the next day and there were shiny new locks on each box and a pair of drilled out locks sitting on the work bench......

I work with some real winners. They are so easy to prank.

No honey, I wasn't at the club!?!

It's all over the carpet and since it happened in the same spot twice where a lot of traffic goes through, it's being tracked all through the building

It's like a mystical sparkly star carpet that shimmers as you walk

Had our developer meeting and there's still some in his hair

My most memorable prank was taking the water bottle off the cooler, putting in goldfish and sealing it, filling the tract below with good water, and replacing the bottle.

When the office staff came in and were all upset, I calmly walked over and poured a cup and drank it, asking what the problem was.

(I owned the company)

Monday my current male boss is getting moved and being replaced by a female. That will mean i report to 3 females now. Yay f'n me. The head female is a volatile cornicopia of estrogen, ready to explode at any given second.

Are any of them single, heterosexual, and attractive?

Powerful women arouse me.

No......just no. No, no nope. Head lady is a few inches from dwarfdom. Replacement lady could be confused as a man in darkness. And the other is rather plump but cool personality wise.

I think i am going full survival mode and will put replacement lady up against the eighth dwarf. Should produce some fireworks and leave me under the radar.

Hmm...

It's all about personality when in administrative roles.

My last female overlord would of been better at being a high school principal.
