At this point I'm just talking to myself here, but in other news, the politics subforum at m.net sucks ***** (which I knew, so it's my own fault for reading a thread there). If you're going to go online and whine about having to clip coupons after you lost your job, wouldn't you take the 2010 model year car out of your signature line? Ah ha ha ha ha. I LOL'd when I re-read that. I meant a Miata with just a GReddy kit on it (essentially stock, bah ha ha ha).

 

If that is a GT3 then there is too much paint on that body, it is the wrong color, the graphics are wrong, the rotors are an incorrect material and whoever owns that car removed the 4-point factory cage for no reason. Fake GT3 FTL. The front fender gives it away the most.

 

Well, that and the fact that there are no left-hand drive GT3 RS's.

 

Except the ones manufactured for sale in North America and wherever people drive on the right side of the road... There's one for sale at AutoHaus VW/Porsche in the city here.

Wait, WTF. Wiki is wrong about the RS, and the Porsche website DOES show this paint/graphics combo:

Yeah, but it should have decals on the right front fender and rear left fender, which it doesn't. It should also have carbon ceramic discs, which it doesn't. It should also have a Porsche 4-point rollcage, which it doesn't. And I'm still iffy on the amber side markers.

 

Those brakes should be the same as these ones, since they are identical braking systems. The ones on the car above are way too shiny to be Porche's ceramic rotor (unlike these, which are still not that shiny with a flash on the camera) unless they've been swapped.

 

Nope, check the Porsche website. Ceramic brakes are an option. Decals match exactly. Not sure about the cage, can't remember if I saw one or not in the car.

 

Didn't know Porsche riced out cars.

 

Really? They're an OPTION on the GT3 RS? That's gay. Huh, you learn something new every day. What the hell is Porsche doing? It's supposed to come standard with ceramic brakes and a 4-point cage and the typical fender decal. Gay. I'd still rock one though. Sexy car.

stripped the PS tension bolt. Soooo now I have no belt on and the steering is ***.

Fun fun. Anyone know how to get at this stripped-*** piece of shiz? I've tried c-clamps and other types of pliers and smaller sockets and wrenches. Nothing's working.

 

I'm sure your dick-sucking skills would allow you to get it out by mouth....

 

GT3 or not that paint scheme is horrid.
