Well, remember that this is a condo building, not an apartment building. So drain maintenance is on the owner.

The rest of the **** isn't their fault, just comes from living between Wrigley Field and Lake Shore Dr, and that's my bad. **** the Chicago Cubs directly in their blue, hairy *******.

Emotional day today. My TV career is officially over. Again.

My #1 got kinda emotional as we shook hands and parted. Almost cried a little. Meant a lot, given that I've only been here 10 months.

Then I almost cried a little after he was gone.

People who I barely even knew were coming up to my office all day to wish me farewell and say emotional things. I mean, we're talking about folks from the newsroom whose names I didn't know, all the way to George the building superintendent. That's pretty flattering...

I went to Kuma's with my VP again, as I swore I would after the first time. Had the Goatsnake. Good burger, one of the best I've ever eaten, but the Minotaur is still #1. Wish I'd have had a chance to try the Hatebeak (Anger is literally one of the ingredients as per the menu) but my dinner menu for the last two nights I have here is already set. Byron's and Coalfire.

Weird. I had the same day. I mean, healthcare, not TV, and a bit short of 4 years rather than 10 months. But pretty much the same day.

Interesting.

The total length of my most recent TV career was 3 years and ~10 months. Three years (literally to the day) at WPIX-TV, and appx 10 months at WGN-TV, both owned by Tribune Broadcasting.

Wanna play dirty? Sep 16, 2013.

My first day at Sta-Home Health & Hospice was August 12th, 2013. The hairs on the back of my neck are distinctly un-raised right now.

Our poodle had a bad seizure last night. He's 8 years old, never had a seizure before. This morning the vet said that they've had a ton of toxoplasmosis cases in dogs this year, and that she's seen several acute cases that caused seizures.

Sucks. Hoping that the blood tests give us a clear answer that is easily treatable.

Actually, I rescind my earlier comment, in which I kind of excused the building for having shitty plumbing.

I am gods-damned tired of having to tiptoe past the huge trench in the hallway leading to the laundry room in the basement. In what universe is it ok that it takes three weeks to replace a single drain pipe?

Sorry to hear that, man.

My Lexie died about 5 years ago, of old age, after a long and awesome life. And I still miss her. Bestest little fuzzbutt ever.

Can't even imagine dealing with the threat of loosing a big ole' floofy pal like that at age 8.

Aren't you in Chicago? There's probably dozens of inspectors who need to inspect + approve [maybe] that pipe to ensure the safety of the rest of the citizens.... Doubtful it'll be done by the time you leave.

Judging from the pic in this post #28638 you did, I've seen more inviting corridors in a nursing home.

Mr. TheCow acts like an entitled douche in public again.

Shia LaBeouf was arrested overnight for public drunkenness, obstruction, and disorderly conduct in Savannah, Ga., Variety can confirm.

LaBeouf was taken into custody by the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department at around 4 a.m. ET early Saturday morning after he was caught causing a drunken commotion in City Market downtown.

The “Transformers” star first began making a scene when he asked a bystander and an officer if they had any cigarettes to spare. Upon their refusal, “he became disorderly, using profanities and vulgar language in front of the women and children present,” says the SCMPD. “He was told to leave the area and refused, becoming aggressive toward the officer.”

When the officer attempted to place LaBeouf under arrest, LaBeouf ran to a nearby hotel. LaBeouf was arrested in the hotel lobby, where his disorderly behavior continued.

LaBeouf was charged with obstruction, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.

According to TMZ, LaBeouf was in police custody in Georgia until 11 a.m. ET this morning when he was released on $3,500 bond.

He is currently filming indie movie “The Peanut Butter Falcon” in Savannah, which co-stars Dakota Johnson and Bruce Dern.

According to several local residents on Twitter, LaBeouf was seen having dinner with Johnson Friday night before continuing his partying into the early morning hours.

The 31-year old actor has had quite a few run-ins with the law. He was arrested in October 2015 in Austin, Tex., also for being drunk in public and running through the streets of the city. LaBeouf was also booked with a DUI in 2008.

Big city unions?

But to be fair, my building is less than 6 years old. But it's a nice enough building they replace the air filters, light bulbs, unclog drains, etc.

RELEASE THE MONKEY!

https://github.com/Netflix/chaosmonkey

Chaos Monkey randomly terminates virtual machine instances and containers that run inside of your production environment. Exposing engineers to failures more frequently incentivizes them to build resilient services.
Ok, so who all is using Spinnaker?
