This one is for JoeP, the wet bar in the living room of the house I'm purchasing.

 

A part of me wants to really like it, and a part of me abhors the shallow opening angle of that last cabinet back there in the corner.

Nice looking countertop, though.

 

Yeah the house sits on a corner lot and has like a boomerang type shape, but with two defined angles vs a gradual curve.......if that makes sense? House has the same granite countertops in the laundry room, kitchen and both bathrooms as well. They did a damn fine job fixing up the house. It was a steal at $86/sq ft.

But at least it's interesting vs "here is garage rectangle, and here is the living rectangle behind it" like many homes. EDIT: I'll just add a damn pic.

Had this text from one of my roommates about our other roommate when I woke up this morning

Was just awoken by Jonathan, naked except for a towel around his waist, trying to crawl into bed with me. When I sat up, he staggered back and stared at me without saying anything before walking over to my A.C., staring at it for 30 seconds, turning it off, staring for 30 more seconds, and asking "Are you still cold?" Before walking out.

 

Ambien?

Seriously, I'm aroused by interesting architectural designs. At least, so far as they don't go out of their way to scream "Look how interesting and non-conformist I am!*" And this one seems to meet that criteria.



I never knew this was a thing until recently, but yes, I'm now wondering the same.

 

Maybe. We know he drinks pretty heavily but nothing definite other than that. Last time he was passed out in the other guys bed and it took a minute or two to wake him up. Once he was up he starting talking about bug out bags.

 

Ok, so serious question time:

Any history of mental illness?

PTSD?

Does he talk about stuff that gives you the ******* when he's sober / awake / etc.?

 

None that I know of. I'm not much of a people person so I haven't talked to him that much. Never heard him talk about anything weird/creepy though. My other roommate went to high school with him so he knows him better. He just turned 21 a few months ago and is still in college so I'm feeling more like it's he's just young and out of his parents house for the first time. Could be wrong.

 

I have no idea if the symptoms fit (i'm not a psychiatrist, nor do I play one on TV), but AIUI this is the age at which schizophrenia often first manifests.

This is from right now... did we set a record today? 766 doesn't seem like enough for an all-time high? Just the current online crew of Texas and NoVA should be that much.

 

This will be a surgery month for me. Had 1st cataract removed today. Left eye next week, then Sept 5, hernia repair.

Will have to postpone RoadTitans300 until next year.
