I've always loved Moby's, but the one in Arlington suddenly got stingy with the bread. They give half as much as they used to with meals (half a piece), and charge $1.50 for another half a piece ifyou ask for extra. Really, Moby's? It's flour and water. You can't just include a reasonable portion of it with the meal?
12/14/2010 I used to love District Taco. I was thrilled when they opened their restaurant in Arlington. But only a few weeks after opening, they suddenly changed their previously delicious guacamole. Instead of lots of mashed avocados, the guac is now watered down with mostly sour cream (or another creamy substance). They sttill charge $5 and call it "guacamole," but the only thing about it that resembles guac now is that it's slightly greenish. I guess they needed to cut their expenses somewhere, but it's so disappointing that I won't be returning.

Not at all man. **** that. I would have done the same, probably would have got real loud with the owner as well. I have a hard time keeping quiet. 
Just last night at the grocery store this ******* guy that works there comes up to the register as we're paying. We split the bill when we go and she was doing her card, then it was my turn. Well this sleazebag looking **** is standing RIGHT NEXT TO ME while I'm swiping my card. Looking right in my direction. I was almost done and counted to 10, got my receipt, thanked the lady and as we're walking away I said to her "did you see that guy, wtf". I finished off with a super loud "back the **** up" as i looked back at him. I 100% would have knocked him out if he said a peep back to me.
Too many ******* ******** and idiots get away with ****. Some people are ********* on purpose, sounds like the guy you were dealing with. Other people are just so stupid their oblivious, like this guy at the grocery store. I try not to lash out at anyone, but when I have a reason to I usually don't hold back.

I'm sorry, but when you CHOOSE to be in the customer service industry, you have to deal with customers in a polite way...at least when they're being polite. Just because you own the place doesn't give one the right to chastise people. I've been there, I've dealt with the stupid people...too much. It wasn't like I walked up, made a show and started yelling "where the **** is my ******* food?! I want my food!" or some **** like that.

I'll help. For me rule #1 is get a big enough compressor. Tank capacity will keep you from having to wait for it to pump back up. Greater compressor head volume means it doesn't have to run as much to keep up and will likely last longer. I prefer cast steel comp heads with oil bath. I'm not a fan of oilless compressors. I can't say I have a reason other than it seems unnatural to operate a sliding contact surface under force without lubricant. Big and sturdy with lots of capacity is good. It doesn't need to be light and portable; you just need a longer hose. I haz a very old one of these 80 gallon units that runs off 240v:
As for tools, I had a cheap Chicago Pneumatic (Harbor Freight) 1/2 in drive impact that wouldn't always loosen the lugnuts, etc. and then got one rated for more ft/lbs. several years back. Ooh, what a difference. It is the Harbor Freight "Earthquake" and I luvs it. Add a drop or two of air tool oil every use and you will have it for years. I also have a fancy Kobalt (Lowe's) 3/8 drive air ratchet that I like. Both are adjustable for power so you don't destroy what you are working on with torque. These two tools make every job I do take 1/4 of the time it took with hand ratchets. Get a bunch of impact sockets, extensions and swivels from HF and go to town.
My cut-off wheel is ok but I prefer my electric Milwaukee Sawzall or an electric miter saw for most work. Or the electric angle grinder. You can never have enough tools.
I also have a couple of nice air chucks and a paint sprayer that get used on occasion.

It's fine for filling tires, blowing dust off the workbench, and running the impact wrench when there's one particular bolt that I'm having trouble with. But for running the grinder or the impact wrench for any length of time it's damn near useless- you get 30 or 40 seconds of runtime, followed by several minutes of waiting for the tank to refill. I don't even use it for lug nuts. Crack 'em free with the breaker bar, then use the cordless drill to spin 'em off and on.
I'd never even dream of trying to paint anything with it.
Personally, I'd love to replace it with a larger unit, except for the restrictions imposed by apartment life (and the fact that I seem to move a lot.) I don't have any convenient way of getting 220v into the garage, I don't have a lot of space (my current compressor sits under the workbench) and I like have a compressor that's easy to haul in and out of a moving van.

There was a Miata built for the $2010 Grassroots Motorsports Challenge that was paddle shifted. I think it had some weird V8 swapped into it as well, maybe from a Lexus?

Oh, so I got an email back from the dickbag owner of the shitt pizza joint. Boy...what a great mentality to run a business-
I'm not going to lower myself to that level and reply. This guy honestly thinks a 40 minute wait for some chicken fingers (3 of them...with fries) is acceptable. I also love how he turns the blame to me accusing him of messing up the order/lost my ticket....when I clearly told him I wanted to make sure I didn't miss my name being called. What a douche. With a reply like that, I'd almost be certain he would **** with a customer's food.
Here was the email I sent him-

Hello sir and thank you for getting in touch with me. I want to apologize for ALL of society, for obviously you have been done wrong in the past. Thinking that I would tamper with your food is the biggest slap in my face ever. I am sorry that your pride and all that guilt made your appetite go away. Furthermore, I had no idea that Sunday isn't your normal operating hours or that there was a "special menu" nor was I even expecting any discount. I did see the "special" menu, but was not told that those were really the only food items available for the day and figured those were just specific discounted items for the meet. If someone, or you, had mentioned that when the order was placed, I would have been more than happy to just get some pizza instead. I'm sorry I mistook the regular menu for being available. I didn't know you, the owner, were the one who came up to me when I inquired about my order. If you were able to berate a random customer, what stops me from believing that you would take matters further? You were clearly in a position in which you didn't care to listen to any input from my side or to want to deal with me further, so we decided to just leave.
