60 gallons, 3.5 HP. Sounds like enough for my amateur usage. Yes?
That looks like a good size. My washer and dryer are in the garage in my current house so I made a long cord for my compressor out of appropriately sized heavy gauge wire that runs all the way to the dryer outlet for power. I didn't feel like putting a permanent outlet in the wall.

I also have a sandblaster and that SOB uses a lot of air, but it is manageable.

Regularly drain the condensation out of the tank or you'll build a 120psi bottle rocket.

Ugh. Filed a claim with BoA for the transaction. Was told I need to make an attempt to get the money back by asking the owner. Fun.
Sent an email simply requesting a refund....I'm curious to hear what this guy will have to say. It'll be nice if he denies it because I can just forward that to BoA, but if he feels like refunding I have to either give him my card number or go there in person so it can be swiped. Neither of which I am happy about doing.

I'd go back in person. **** it man. If you genuinely feel like you do, then you have nothing to worry about. Its the people that go around asking for refunds weekly and complain just to be a pain in the *** that suck.

The owner may be acting like a pompous **** ATM, but once you go in and express your distaste to the service I'll guarantee it'll make him think twice about it. Also, I'd openly mention that you'll never be back, you'll tell everyone you know not to go there and you plan on leaving a review online. **** him. You're just doing what you gotta do to feel satisfied.

It'll be uncomfortable walking in and starting the conversation, but you'll feel better on the way out. Trust me. lol

Well, if it comes down to it, I will go in there. But I'll simply request the refund and say nothing else while in there. He would probably love a "scene" to be made in his store, but I don't want to give him any reason to say **** or be able to threaten to call the cops or whatever other egotripping **** he might think of.

Oh I already made it clear I won't even think about spending a penny in that place.

I did find on some of the shitty car foums where the owner was bitching to people who were "complaining about the service". All of this over some damn chicken....but for ****'s sake, that's my $10 that I earned. Anyone who likes their money will always fight for it.

Consider taking a dog with you. He might try something and a dog would protect you.

Wow...here is what he had to say when I asked for the refund-

Just stop by, in person, face to face and ask me for the 20$ bill with your name on it. I do not run my business for money or profit. I run it
to provide real food for real people. I am giving you back double your money just to show you how worthless you will still be.

I look forward to your visit Michael.

See, now you gave him the higher ground!

I would have gone in there and caught him by surprise rather than send the email.

The guy sounds like a dick. I'd go in and be ready for a screaming match. Whats the worst that can happen?

Well, the bank wanted me to make contact and I wanted to do it in email so if he declined I would have something to send to BoA proving hs asshattery. I think I'll just wear some earphones and be blasting music deep into my ears so he won't have much a chance to say ****.

But then again, this guy has no idea what I look like....I need to find someone itching for a fight and send them in there
Seriously though, I'll just walk in there, ask for MY money back (I don't want his shitty money) and just constantly ask for it and talk over him if he starts going on about anything. I wonder if he would be stupid enough to take a swing at me. I know he wants a screaming match, but I can be super antagonistic....if ****** feels the need to make his point before giving up the money, I'll just do some **** like take a fake phone call, or play with my phone or start singing to myself or start ordering food...or show general boredom until he shuts his ****. If he hands me a $20 bill, I can always say I never got it (unlikely he'll make me sign any proof of refund) and I can still get BoA to take the $10 back from him. Double burn.

Wonder if he is smart enough to keep a gun in the store and stupid enough to use it?

Dunno, but I won't be making any moves that could cause any rational person to even think about reaching for a gun. If such a device were to become present, I will leave and have the situation dealt with accordingly.

I think it's incredibly funny how this whole thing would have been avoided with a number of easy to say things on his part. But he decided to go off the deep end and I'm sorry, but that's my money and I want it back. Principal.....he has none.

You have already questioned his rationality.

If I lived around you I'd go for you. I'm always down for a screaming match or a fistfight. Preferably a fistfight. lol

Really though, I wouldn't worry all too much about it man. The worst thing the guy can do is get loud with you. I doubt the guy would be willing to throw down or pull a gun on a customer in his business. At the same time, if you even suspected anything like that could happen, then is it really worth $20?

He's calling you out like that on purpose, taking the chance that you don't show up to battle him. lol

Oh I'm going to go up there, no doubt. I doubt he'd put his precious little business in jeopardy...he thinks way too highly that he has some God's gift to the pizza industry. I'm not worried about someone getting loud either, I can deal with that. I know he thinks I won't show with a 'call out' like that. Too bad for him.
