Wow. The new Christmas tmobile commercial is awesome. The say 4G, but it sounds to me like orgy. So they are "walking in an orgy wonderland."

Story: dude at a friends shop can't afford MS, I help him out for helf the price of the. Locals, he has oddball issue that seems to be related to the board design. He geeks because its more trouble than he was willing to deal with.. now I'm the bad guy.

Otherwise I told him to go to the local expert for his paticular motor who is also having the same issue. He didn't have the cash so I helped him anyway. Now I'm stuck. V/drunken rant

That is why I no longer fix peoples computers/cars/phones/etc... Because no matter what, for the rest of whatever you fixed life, if it breaks, it's your fault.

Yay for the alarm being set to go off at 4:30, and it is now 11:50 and I am not able to sleep. Laid in bed for an hour just tossing and turning, got up thinking I would get tired if I sat here for a while. Still wide ******* awake! GODDAMN IT! I'm going to rig up a system at my headboard that will knock me out at the push or a button or pull of a lever. Might wake up with a headache...

Yeah, that worked well. Ended up with about 2 hours of sleep. Should make my 13 hour day feel nice and easy...

Holy sweet jesus pickle mustard....I never get angry, but today at the bank I nearly lost it. I've been getting sicker and sicker this weekend and lost my voice completely; I can barely speak above a whisper. I don't always bank. But when I do, I have my slips filled out before going to the counter. I enjoy painless banking.

Time: 1:30pm
Location: Bank
Culprit: Bank Teller
Victim: Pilot of evangelion unit 01 (me)

Me: (in a whisper) Hello, I need to make a deposit. (slide filled out deposit slip towards her)

Bank Teller: Hi. How can I help you?

Me:....I need to make a deposit....Sorry, I lost my voice, I can't speak any louder.

Bank Teller: Would you like to make a deposit?

Me: (extending filled out deposit slip towards her....again)........Yes, I need to make a deposit....

Bank Teller: Sir, I need you to speak up.

Me: (writing on the back on my slip- I LOST MY VOICE)

Bank Teller: Oh, you lost your voice. Why didn't you just say so?

Me:..................................

Random person in line behind me: geezuz christ, lady...

My little bro JUST left MEPS for the island. This morning we went and got his new glasses from the eye dr (b/c he has contacts and put off getting glasses too long), drove 2.5 hrs to Columbus, got to MEPS just as he was getting on the bus to go to the airport. He got his glasses though, and he'll do great there. He can do 133 crunches in 2 minutes, 20 pull-ups, and he runs the 1.5 mile in 11:42 I believe, although it might be 11:22, idk.
My recruiter said he's going to delay my ship date do I can see him graduate, meaning I'll be leaving in just over 3 months at the earliest.
What branch you decide on? Do you know how long you'll have to wait yet?

EDIT: I'm gonna make a bootcamp thread later to catalog his 90 day paid vacation.

Not really slow. Average person would find it difficult to do a 9 minute mile, and 11:42 is closer to a high 7 minute mile. Really probably a mid 7 mile since he tapered off after a mile probably.

For a guy that usually works out and sounds to be fit that time seems a bit slow. **** I could probably run that time and I cannot do half a sit up if you paid me.

8 minute mile is a lot faster than you think.

EDIT: I just finished my first 5k a week ago with a time of 29:40, so anything faster than a 9 minute mile seems pretty fast to me. Of course, the two friends I went with both finished in the 23rd minute.

EDIT 2: On the other hand, I did that 5k wearing Vibram Five Fingers, and finished a good 50 places ahead of the only other barefoot/VFF runner in the race.

Hmmm I guess

Edit: well I was set to think that 6 min miles is were is at for a person in shape. I used to do that time back in the day when I was not sitting on the couch watching Netflix and **** all day long. Personal best was ~12:20ish for 2 but that was eons ago.

It's not slow. A former Parris Island Senior Drill Instructor told us that if you run under 12:30 when you do your IST (initial strength test) when you get to boot camp then the DI's wont look at you too hard. I'd say mid 12's is probably the average male poolee runs, but the goal of course is always to do better. As far as the sit ups go, there not as hard as you think. If you do a few max sets a day every other day then you'll see your numbers go up very quickly, abdominal muscles grow fast.
