I bought my Mazda 2 today. It is slightly faster then my 92 miata, but over a whole lot more comfortable. It is not as nimble, but pretty damn close. I can not wait to get it out at an Autox.

A friend of mine flew in from Colorado and rented a Ford Fusion. I must say, it's a really, really nice car. I was really impressed. Comfortable, quiet, extremely nice interior and the 4 banger has a ton of pep to lug it's *** around with ease. Lots of things I like about that car.

Sorry to disappoint you all but that is not me. Just my lovely girlfriend who was upset that I would not let her drive the car home from Savannah. I will say that Fairway Mazda in Savannah GA was extremely easy to deal with. I called and we agreed on the price of the car plus tax, tags, fees. I was in and out of the dealership in about 1.5 hours. No haggling, no pressure on upselling anything, and everyone at the dealership was extremely nice. They were 10x better then my local Mazda dealer.

Well, if it's all the same, I'm mentally undressing your girlfriend and doing naughty things to her.
I had a Mazda 2 as a rental about a month ago, and I was really surprised by it. I expected the car to be utterly horrid in every way, but it was surprisingly comfortable to sit in and reasonably responsive to drive.

I don't think you can fit it in the trunk. I think the bellhousing will be to tall. You can fit it in the passenger seat area though. Easiest to take out the seat and just set it down, but it does fit with the seat in.
