That's what I'm assuming.
I know the intake cam is fine, as I verified the ignition timing last night (I'm still using the stock CAS on this engine.) Could well be that the exhaust cam skipped a tooth or two and is now retarded relative to the crank, which from what I understand would cause this exact symptom. |

The Raspberry Pi is a single-board computer developed in the UK by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card sized computer that plugs into your TV and a keyboard. It’s a capable little PC which can be used for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word-processing and games. It also plays high-definition video. Seems like it might be a good option for datalogging a older MS? and you cant beat the 45 dollar price tag either. http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/83-14631 |

Is that a raspberry?
I see the potential of having a GPS style touchscreen with the ability to pop up tunerstudio and see whats going on similar to what the diesel guys are doing. http://173.203.60.223/SuperContainer...%20Bully%20Dog |

I can't believe that passed emissions...but that's pretty cool. I will probably try a legit emissions test this year on the daily if I can motivate myself to put the cat back in the car. Thanks for posting it.
I did replace my "test pipe" with the OEM cat for a day. (Guess what day) Good thing we used flanges on the exhaust when we designed it. There is a very perceptible difference in how the car pulls with the cat. Slower. |

Why? The test was as legit as it gets.

just ordered a T61 turbo for my poopra, now to find a way to graft my 57 trim CT26 to the miata...

I currently have 5+ tabs open that have to do with smoking brisket, pork butt, and modding my ECB smoker. I am pretty sure the rest of the day will be spent reading and researching. Well that is as long as developers stop asking me stupid questions and leave me be in my corner.

Whatever bad thing mysteriously happened to my engine on Wednesday morning seems to have mysteriously un-happened about half an hour ago, while driving. I left my laptop at home so I can't see what's going on behind the scenes, but it's now idling properly and making good torque at the bottom end.
This vehicle is beginning to perplex me. Regardless, I think I'm going to pull it apart this weekend and replace the timing belt, water pump, etc. I shall make a point carefully to inspect the tension of the timing belt. |
Why cant local people get off of their damn power trips... your hardtop that has fiberglass cracks, paint chips and overall needs paint is not worth 800 dollars... Thats the lowest price T have seen for a hardtop locally in close to 1.5 years :vash:
