Oh hell no - I'm not even worthy to be mentioned in the same text as Emilio or Andrew! Seriously, I bought the wing, flares, and mirrors because they looked cool

On topic, as a newly a certified instructor with Nasa, I look forward to driving different cars (if the students allow) to learn the intrinsic querks about each. My track buddeis have also worked out a deal to take turns driving each others cars for a session or two with the understanding of you break it, you bought it.

I have too much wrapped up in my car to do that. After that time the guy money shifted, looped the car, spun the engine backward, and walked off to another car, I learned my lesson.

Did the engine spin backwards because he did a 180* with the clutch out?

yes. The guy kept bugging me to drive it, he was trying to explain something to me that I apparently didn't understand on a couple corners, and I finally gave in. It was clear from the minute we left the grid with the tires spinning that I was not going to appreciate where this was going. My favorite was the instructor walking away from my car so he could get back to his car to run the next session while I stayed and waited for the tow truck. That might have been the event that cost me $700 in head rebuild. I would never drive someone else's car like I owned it, I have more respect than that. With a car as nice as mine, and after seeing how awesomely it compares to something like a Vette, I just cannot trust anyone else to have the same kind of restraint and respect that I do.

There was another time I let my buddy Matt drive the car for a session and I was so pissed because I saw him go off in grand fashion. I was furious...then he told me the throttle stuck on the fastest part of the track at ~120, I felt pretty bad, lol.

I out of cash so I can't go to TWS...again. I don't think I'm going to be able to make it out again until Miatas at Hallett in September. This year keeps getting more and more expensive.
