Whats crazy is that its probably a single nozzle nitrous setup.
Some people are fearless... or just reckless, haha

I forgot to post this one

I forgot my telephoto when I (attempted to) find places to photograph my car, but a little photoshop does the effect well enough for posting on a lowly forum.
Ill take some nice straight photos soon, I just need to find some locations. I dont usually photograph cars...

It takes a lot more than that to get a Miata into the 10s :( I will have to watch out for these. :|

Tried to take some more pictures today, found a couple random spots but nothing that goes with the car well. The light wasnt too good either (although much better than usual)

These are the only shots I really like:

I like the way the flush mounted side louvers look

No replacement for displacement........ NTM a chassis that is actually designed to go fast in a straight line.

The Coyote engine is very cool. DI is just around the corner. IIRC, it already has the casting for it, but it wasn't needed to meet emmisions/desired power levels yet.

What I'm trying to say is...... Nice car

Im looking forward to seeing what these things do with boost, a few people have already started working on turbo setups and there are a few supercherged setups going into production.

550hp on 6 psi, mwahahaha

If you drop a decent set of rods and pistons in it, I'm sure that thing would get REAL rowdy at 15-16psi.

14.7= x2 atmospheric pressure, so that 5.0 just became a 10.0 with the pumping losses of the 5.0. NTM the heads flow REALLY well out of the box, and from what I've heard locally, port work wakes them up even more.

These guys are real close to us, and if you've ever opened a hotrod mustang mag, you've seen Ricks articles plastered all over it.

Still about $3K worth of work not including the DRs/wheels/seat - From the mods list on the vid you posted. Impressive nonetheless. 100 shot is pretty small for a v8. Figure only 12.5 hp per cylinder. It helps that Mustang parts in general are dirt cheap.:

Full Mod List

31 spline axles
Spool
Bassani x pipe ( USING STOCK CONVERTERS )
Bassani Mufflers

ZEX Nitrous System 100hp
Adjustable Stock Replacement Struts Eibach

Adjustable Rear Shock
Adjustable Urethane Panhard Rod

+1 on the cool coyote engine and your new mustang. I have a cylinder head sitting here at my desk, there's a flat, round boss in the combustion chamber for what I assume is future DI but it's in between the exhaust valves and I don't see how they'll fit an injector in there above the combustion chamber, the valve springs and cam shafts are in the way.

I've designed a finger follower for this thing but no orders yet

I feel real bad for the guys who bought this new mustang with the 4.6 (or for that matter the old V6). haha. sucks to be them.

Fastlane is right behind my buddies shop and they have come out with some pretty cool stuff in the past. Turbo SRT8 Jeeps, Twin Turbo Ford GT, and a host of old big blocks putting down serious power.

ftb, nice ride. How much autocrossing are you gonna do with it, and are you going to stay stock class for now? R-comps? I think it'd be a fun autocrosser, I'm curious how it'll do. We have a few good stock class pony cars up here in NEDiv, and they look like a lot of fun.

Id like to run it in some showroom stock classes. Righjt now I cant afford to buy a set of wheels so Im probably just gonna go run it on street tires just for fun.
The Cortvette club meets just south of here and I could go run with them (less hassle than the SCCA), hopefully put the hurtin on some vettes. L:ast time I ran there with my miata (before it was turbo) I was nipping at the heels at a few of them and I was on **** tires, haha.
But yah, I think itll do well, the sways are pretty beefy (although with R comps itll probably start getting some roll) and the springs/shocks are pretty good, not squishy like stangs of the past.

Speaking of autocrossing, this guy can really boogie in his GT:

Lol, Sam is one of the guys I was referring to before. He's top dog in FS, we've got a couple other guys in New York that are pretty fast but not as fast as Sam. He was in a Shelby a couple months ago when I last saw him, it looks like the 5.0 vid is very new.
