I haz 5.0
I have aquired a "Kona Blue" 2011 Mustang GT. Its the base model GT with the option 3.73 gears (first gear is borderline retarded for this power level)
Couple of little snapshots:
The light is just starting to get good (around here the light is terrible for 80% of the year), so hopefully Ill be able to take some nicer photographs soon.
Since the car is a dark color Im going to try to find some places that have a lot of light colored concrete, which should make for nice images. Definitely time to use the polarizer too.
But anyway, the suspension and steering feel is pretty good. It corners flat and feels fairly neutral, although I havent pushed it yet.
The power is phenomenal, especially with the 3.73 gears. I fell that the gearing is going to work out well for autocrossing/track days, there is a gear for every occasion.
Besides that, its comfortable, quite while cruising around town, stereo sounds good, AC works well, etc. so all in all Im very happy.

When looking around at Mazdas for my GF, we asked the salesman WTF is up with the Tribute, when they have the CX-7 and CX-9. He said it's based on the Escape, and Mazda is looking to get the **** away from anything Ford. I dunno if anyone noticed, but the B2200 trucks no longer exist. That's my worthless comment of the day.

Id have to say the new 5.0 is really spectacular. It has plenty of grunt down low to the point that you can easily overtake in 5th, but the thing really pulls hard through the upper RPMs, Ive gotten on the limiter several times already.
Theres something cool about hearing a crossplane V8 rev to 7, haha.
It truly is a modern engine; DOHC, VVT on both the intake and exhaust cams, 11.0:1 compression, 4v per cylinder, all aluminum. nearly square bore/stroke ratio, and a 1.62 rod ratio (better than the BP!)
I may go do a baseline dyno run sometime soon, it depends on how soon Im going to start with bolt-ons
