I need your help! Been scammed.

I had this happen. I knew a guy that worked part time at a machine shop and i met him somewhere to give him the head off my car (tried to make that sound as no homo as possible). Anyways, I keep blowing up his phone and i get blocked. No one on the local forums knew where he lived, but one did have a last name. So i just planned to visit all of the places with the last names in his general area. (small town) The first one was a hit. I knocked and he came out and looked like he had seen a host. He had just bought a miata. He had done no work to my head, so i told him he needed to go to the atm and get me my cash back. It worked out well, maybe because i was twice his size.

Alright, I called the parents, and they said that the Alec that Brain found does not have a car at school, so it must not be him. hmmmm
Well I do know he has class till 7pm most week days.

UPDATE:
So I managed to get the PS3 to run for a minute. His user name is ALEC. So I assume he was not kidding about his name.
I wonder if that guy I called actually is the father of the Alec that scammed me? Would someone else mind calling and trying to find out? (Already used my number).
Also, anyone know if I could pull any useful data off the ps3 harddrive? (I know, it is encrypted)

Isn't his data stored in the PS3 marketplace thing? I know it holds my credit card number and name for purchases. My system is updating right now but I'll take a look later today and let you know. I think its PSN -> account mgmt -> ??

Besides I don't stalk, buy PS3s without looking them over, email-bomb people, etc.
