Because I want to run a battery on something other than regular battery acid. Why do one project/experiment when you can do two at the same time?

Of course he did (was easy to see). What I posted was meant as a joke.

Any sufficiently strong acid will work.

Fun fact: We use glacial acetic acid at work. Smells like vinegar, but will take the skin off your fingers in a couple of minutes. We also use a very powerful sulfuric acid that can eat through anything organic nearly instantly. Just the fumes from it will corrode your lungs.

Fun fact: this is, so far as I know, the only way to actually die in any of the Monkey Island games. You have to literally just stand there doing absolutely nothing for exactly ten minutes after being tied to the idol and thrown off the bridge.

You can't have a rational, unbiased debate about religion and politics on the internet.

You got me there Joe. There is absolutely no way I will try to disprove that one.

When conducting a design of experiments it is generally advised to change one variable at a time so if there is a change it can be known that that variable caused the change. If you change two or more variables and something changes you cannot definitively determine which variable caused the change.

You can't strike a match on a wet bar of soap.

But this would be a much safer experiment.
