I want to install a car battery backwards (and reverse the poles). Will it work?

Fun fact: We use glacial acetic acid at work. Smells like vinegar, but will take the skin off your fingers in a couple of minutes. We also use a very powerful sulfuric acid that can eat through anything organic nearly instantly. Just the fumes from it will corrode your lungs.

Fun fact: this is, so far as I know, the only way to actually die in any of the Monkey Island games. You have to literally just stand there doing absolutely nothing for exactly ten minutes after being tied to the idol and thrown off the bridge.

When conducting a design of experiments it is generally advised to change one variable at a time so if there is a change it can be known that that variable caused the change. If you change two or more variables and something changes you cannot definitively determine which variable caused the change.
