lol @ Cervelo

I guess I'll continue planning on replacing my frame with a HM Evo frame if and when I break it.

Spesh, baby-vomit green paint, saddle matches nothing, 6800 crank. You've gone soft.

Agreed. Nothing about that bike makes we want to touch it.

Rode the snow yesterday. I picked the studded tires up years ago used. They just never wear out on snow. Definitely slower on the street but it makes sub zero (using the real form of temperature measurement) biking possible.

I'd like to try fat biking or get some very wide tires for a standard bike. I think a 27.5 MTB may be in the future.

SiSL2 crank with 53/39 and 50/34 just came up for $650 online, so I sent $800 to my student loan instead. FML

So I bought a set of these, unobtanium baller pedals

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000YRU4NM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000YRU4NM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1

After adjusting the bearings they spin much better than the stockers my feet were slipping off of. Gonna try them out today or tomorrow.

Is there something special about them, a hidden gem type thing, or were you sarcastic?

I bought an sram apex group for my single bike build on ebay. $200 for a full group, minus chain.

Going to sell the brakes since I'm either doing TT style brakes or discs, and I hear using a Shimano cassette makes it shift better, so I will try a few of my wheels in it and see how that works out.

I was being a little sarcastic, but for the money they are really good. They don't grip my feet like I had hoped, but the reduced friction was very noticable. I find myself wanting to upgrade all the bearings now, but I don't want a $800 $400 bike that's worth $200.

You should have bought pedals with pins a-la mountain bike.

I have some that came on a rocky Mountain bike that are indestructible, spring well and you can replace the pins when they wear down.

If you slide off the pedal though it will grip your shin just like it gripped your shoe.
