If FEMA had the bicycles, would it fund Hustler's manlet bib?
This I understand, you guys almost had me convinced to give up wrecking my feet and knees jogging for a bike until you posted your injury.
When I still rode sportbikes, I was in an accident where 4 of us went down, and one of friends left with a sheet over his body. If my bike hadn't been just good enough to still ride, I probably would have never got back on.

The best way to get over crashing is to ride. I had a bad wreck this last year, like 36mph in a pack. Broke my bike in 5 places, wrecked my wheels, folded my saddle, broke my pedals, and shredded 2 tubulars. I was lucky with road rash and a broken nose. I was out racing again the next weekend (on another bike), didn't give me time to think about it.

Yeah, I'm going to give it a try. I have a very long way to go. I can't really afford another $7500 in copay. Yes, I received more bills last week. Cycling is the only thing I can afford to do now because it's relatively cost-free at this point. Just need tires and food.

Seems like there's still an awful lot of unused space between his knee and the road. Is that what spandexers consider to be "hardcore?"
The worst of the snow and ice is finally gone, so I'm back to riding once again. Amazing how even just a week off and it takes me a day or two to recover...

Worst part is, I will either be building with chro-mo or 7005 alloy. no carbon for this frame.
Though, Im really hoping I can find a deal on a carbon disc fork for 700C wheel sizes. Im not holding my breath.
Im going to try to find a moderate groupset to get things going on that build, then sell the brakes. Im undecided if I will go SRAM or Shimano at this point.
