If FEMA had the bicycles, would it fund Hustler's manlet bib?

Here is my not-so-baller bicycle

A local shop put it together after a guy rebuilt a brand new race bike with a whole set of new parts, so they put all of that stuff on a Surly Pacer frame, and I bought it.
Its about that time when it gets unbearable hot down here, so its stuck on the trainer for a a while.

If enough of you guys really want a cheeseburger cut and fork over a deposit, I guess I could be talked into it (bleh).

Probably gray mostly, with some big orange graphics somewhere. How about this for a logo: "That is how I ride, flat out."

Anybody have the skills to design it and format the file for screen printing?
I'll do the euro-cut if the price is reasonable.

lol @ "cheese-burger cut".

Contacted Voler to get the ball rolling. If they allow a mix n match order, I'll make some in I'll-have-a-salad cut, some in i-can-haz-cheesburger cut.

Our production date puts jerseys in my shop Aug 20. When I have a mock up of the design I'll add an order page to the website and start a new thread here somewhere.

Emilio, I'm keen for a race/euro cut one. I'm in a race team already so I'm probably only allowed to use your jersey for training rides but I'm happy to represent 949 'down under'.

What does it mean when I start looking at a map for where to eat lunch and think about how it would be faster to pedal than drive? Am I becoming a hipster ------?

As far as I can see, hipsters only do two things right. Bikes and gastropubs.

You're not hipster until you buy this guy's entire catalog. I do like the beer holder though...

Can we talk shorts?
I have 1 cheap pair($45) and 1 really cheap pair($29.99). Is it really worth $50-100 per pair for the nice ones?
Can someone break down the whats and whys to high end cycling shorts?

Bibs.

Try the Falconi Deluxe bibs for some good-quality bibs that won't kill your wallet.

Bibs are far more comfortable than plain shorts. If you do any long rides, invest in quality bib shorts. Chamois butter is also your friend.

Cheap <$95 bibs don't last very long. The good bibs are usually over $160 (less when on sale) will be more comfortable than cheap ones and last for years. I machne wash in cold water on the gentle cycle. Tumble air dry or on the lowest heat setting.

I hang my bibs to dry, keeps them from going see through. Bibs are worth it, and price isn't always an indicator of quality. Also, it takes a few hours to wear in a chamois.

I'm going to buy a track bike this weekend. It will never see the street though.

I've never tried the $200 bibs like Assos and whatnot, but the $35 Falconi's are absolutely as good as every $70-100 bib I've tried (Pearl Izumi, Sugoi, etc.).

You're telling me that one set of bibs is worth the same opportunity cost as a single, bronze 15x9? Maybe after I pick-up that Cervelo R3 I can't afford.
