for a boxster: by moving the top up and down (not removing anything to do with the vert top) you can get the carpet and panel out and get to the top of the motor, i did this on my dads car... behind the seats under the carpet there is a panel that once removed lets you change the belts in front of the motor.

2 years ago an Ultima GTR showed up to a track day i was doing at the glen the owner was from NJ put a C5Z06 motor in it with twin turbos, that was one hell of a car till he corded the tires the first morning :(
