A lot could go wrong, you've got to be aware of that before you take it on the track. I'm of the opinion that if you can't afford to write the car off on the track you should consider something less risky.
Mechanically you'll probably be fine. I'd make sure your cooling system is in tip top shape. Brakes two. These will probably take the most punishment.

I am trailering the car. I have a daily driver, I just don't want to blow anything up, because it will be a major pain in the ***. I'm swapping in a 1.8 soon anyway.

I'm building up my car for hardcore track use. 127k, nearly 128k on the motor right now and it will be turbo in a couple of months. 7000 miles on the TB/WP, so I'm not at all worried. I still need to do a compression/leakdown test.

You should be just fine. I ran my car out there several times in stock form without any issue. I wasn't quite as high mileage, but with still, I think you will be ok. Wish I could go with ya, unfortunately my car still isn't together...

should I be worried about a slightly slipply clutch? It doesn't slip in aggressive driving, but if I were to launch the car, it would probably slip. I plan on driving conservatively.
