If it leaked slowly, wouldn't the oil light come on? Have you looked under your car? If it was leaking pretty bad, there would be a noticable film of oil all on the underside I would think..

Must be the "EAST COAST OIL SUCKERS"! (ECOS GANG)
I've heard of this "GANG"
They suck out all of your oil from your car.
And they just so happen to have a large chain of engine rebuilding shops.

if you where getting pressure then maybe you are only down about a quart. buy some cheap regular oil or whatever to get you through and then watch it until you can get some good stuff if the level is ok. for future reference you could take some qiuck steel and put it on around the bolt after you clean it up to make a seal if the seal is broken then you can go kick whoever is responsibles ***. I wish i lived near i would give you some of my oil but i dont if you need someone to hold the person responsible while you beat the crap out of him let me know i could use a good laugh.

Dang thats crazy, I've never heard of anyone stealing the oil outta someone else's car. Are you sure you're not leaking (obvious to spot) or burning it (smoking)? I wouldn't drive it on 1 quart, especially a turbo car.

Sounds like you need a Doberman watching over your car at night.

That is mad, if true

As others have said sure you aint burning it off rather than the oil gnomes coming around and pinching it!

Dude, I'm sorry to hear it. You've got the worst luck. Getting in fights in malls, having your car broken into and your notes/paperwork stolen, and now this.

There were reports of people stealing gas when the fuel prices started jumping up, but stealing oil? Someone must've been desperate!

back in high school some kids poured 2 quarts of motor oil in a "tippy toe tommy's" gas tank of his ranger. That **** smoked like a damn smoke machine, it was crazy, but it ran. It was like a 2 cycle motorcycle engine on its deathbed.

They also put fish guts under the seat, **** in the back floorboard, and flipped the windsheild wipers upside down and threw mud on the windsheild.

Sucks to be you btw.

My step-father poured 5 gallons of kerosene into my '40 chevy that my mother was using to go back and forth to work. No mosquitoes for miles.

If I were you, I would definitely find the oil bandits and provide them with a swift roundhouse kick to the jugular. If you don't stop them soon they will consider stealing coolant and fuel, and thats just messed up.

I blame this oil stealing incident on terrorism. If Bush could finally stop terrorism then we wouldnt have a member missing 3 qts of oil today.
