Some new faces on the farm

 

 

It's like the attraction between my welding magnets and the prevalent metallic dust in my garage.

 

Hi. Hello. Had an interstate move this year which was many months of process because we have too much stuff. Had to put the blacksicles in a cat motel for a week while our house was emptied, and then retrieve them at the other end after flying down. Pretty much we were nervous wrecks the entire time

We were able to visit them at the motel, which was good because the people there were a bit worried about how frightened the cats were.

They didn't really come out the first visit.


Second visit they were a little better, but not really eating. Plus indignity of wearing naff collars.


Finally at the other end it was revealed that we were worried more than the cats were. After a day or so they were pretty comfortable again... should have expected that



They love the bathroom sinks and prefer drinking out of them than their own water fountain thingo.

Very nice photos. Braineack is gonna have to step up his game if we wants to remain the champion cat photographer.

Black cats are especially hard to photograph. I don't think I've ever gotten a really good one of mine.

Come home from work and find that fatty stole one of our better hand towels from a stack on the kitchen table.

 

Given the fit, you can't blame him for assuming it was made for him.

 

The lighting and DOF on this one give the illusion that Kaia is just lying there, disinterested, as the world burns in the background.

 

Having frequently visited his neighborhood, I wouldn't be surprised if that was exactly the case.

 

Wish I could remember this one's name...
