The kitten & cat thread
Fatty is like a new cat since we put him on meds for thyroid issues. His weight has stabilized and the puking has all but stopped. He plays a lot more now with a definite change in his attitude.

After Smoke passed away last fall we decided to wait until after the holidays to get new cats. Well, holidays are over, so last weekend we went to our favorite local no-kill shelter (Nine Lives Foundation in Redwood City) and adopted a pair of kittens.
The shelter named them "Chocolate" and "S'mores", but new names are likely. They haven't posed for any photos next to a turbo yet, but...

Adorable.
The cat we rescued about 4 months ago is terrible at catting. He doesn't cuddle, he doesn't hang around, won't sit in your lap..............he just walks around constantly caterwauling, and then at night he will sleep at the foot of the bed. Buy any time you get up to use the bathroom, get a drink of water, he bolts to the other side of the house where his food dish is.

Here's our little buddy, Ari. He's at the vet now getting his boy-boy procedure done. A little anxious to get him home and start the recovery process.
Don't mind the squint eye, he often looks at us with this expression... like he can't fathom our human stupidity.
