I feel your pain, man. But it's obvious he had a good life.

Our lives are made richer by having good kitties in them.

Damnit, that sucks!
I'm sorry for all of you who have lost kitty friends this year.
I have a genuine question for you all.
Every spring and early summer, I find litters of kittens on my property.
What does it mean when you find exactly 9 solid black kittens?
Not long after I found the first litter, I broke my ankle, but I also found a $20 bill on some old jorts.
Please halp!

I'm torn.
I'm sorry for your loss man. They sure take a huge chunk of us when they go. You gave him a good life and he did the same for you. That's what's important.

Yeah he was always very happy. It ripped me apart to see him suffering but even then he was happy to be with us at the end of his road.

I had my cat put to sleep on my lap a couple years ago to ease his pain. Just the memory of that moment gets me bad.

Sorry for your buddy.

We lost our last cat a few years ago to diabetes, it is never easy when they leave us. :-/ It has taken a while for our household to warm up to getting another but I finally broke down today, my wife has wanted a cat for a while.

We just brought home this nugget, Violet. My sister is a vet tech and saved her and the rest of the litter. She is the runt at 2lbs and 8 weeks old today.

You call that good? I don't see any tuna raining down from the sky at them.

You monster...

Like you and I, that cat also goes belly up after feasting on delicious food.

Because cats and dogs have been scientifically proven to be the same creature (Ingmanson, D. E. and Wallace, W. J., 1985, Oceanography: An Introduction, Wadsworth, Belmont, CA, 530 p.), RIP Duke:

My daughter wrapped him up for nap time, and he accepted.
