At the moment I'm trying to convince the rest of the family that he should be Cassius. He walks like a boxer, and he'll fight anny body :-)

Default May she rest in peace... :'(

Our cat Merlyn passed away this morning after several weeks fighting Pancreatitis. We gave her a private ceremony and laid her to rest.
She will be missed and it won't be the same without her. She was 8 years old.

Sorry to hear that. It's hard to loose them. You don't realise how big a part of your life they were untill they are gone.

My cat Chewie (Chewbacca) passed away 2 weeks ago from a heart attack :( He was 6. Wife is still not taking it well, he was the cat that made me like cats.

99mx5, he was a cool looking cat. Pure Siamese, or a mutt? I grew up with a pair of Siamese next door, and both were very vocal cats.

Sorry to both that your guys are gone.

Thanks guys. I'm also sorry to hear about yours MicaCeli. Actually, Merlyn is female. She was a Siamese bluepoint mix. She was like a puppy, always would run to you if you called her. She would also attack/investigate/hunt on command. She was very quiet and would only meow if you ignored her (or course, she was hardly ignored).

Chewie was the same. :(

So we waited two weeks and the house is not in balance with only one kitteh. We figured we gave two rescues a good home, one for 6 years more then he would of lived that it was time to give a chance to another kitteh for a good life.

We were looking for a male cat but this cute little thing was at one of our rescues in a foster home. She is 4 months old and a polydactyl to better strangle you in your sleep. She is also the most purry kitteh I have ever seen. She starts purring as soon as you come in to the room and sounds like a Harley the whole time.

She is curretly in her own room in the house so that the two cats get their scents and so on. The other kitteh is at the moment not too happy with whats going on, I think he is scurred of a tiny kitten.

I think we settled on Penny (Moneypenny) for her name. Vesper was at the top of the list but Penny just sounds sweeter. Funny how ghey I get around kittehs.

Here she is:

Don't mind the ugly cover, its some old blanket we have to cover the bed there just in case.

Rescued kitties are like fat chicks. They appreciate whatever attention they get, because they've done without and know it sucks.

I disagree, my kitty is an independent woman who knows she don't need no man except when she wants tenshens from him.

My cats are from the streets and we have a different relationship...but they definitely love me more than most cat-factory cats with pedigree.
