The kitten & cat thread
We did rescue another kitteh with more thumbs then the previous one. One kitteh made the house lopsided. All is right in the world now.

Here's my tortie:
Gots a problem. Over the past several months, our young male (maybe a year) has been displaying his dominance over our older female, Felicia. Well, a couple weekends ago, I guess she had enough and ran away. Hadn't the slightest where she went. In the meanwhile, we got Shadow, the young male, fixed hoping he'd relax on strutting his stuff - and the right thing to do. Well today, I saw Felicia several houses down to the excitement of my girls. So we coaxed her into our arms and took her back - and I could tell she didn't want to come back. She was so on edge looking for Shadow. We locked Shadow out and have been gently trying to calm her nerves down - with gentle petting (when she allows) and of course, food.
So, anyone experience feline tensions and how have you over come them? Really would hate for her to run away for good as they are indoor/outdoor cats.
Our other larger male, Rocky, is cool with both - Shadow tried this dominance thing on him, but Rocky had no part of it and whooped his ***.

Susan has similar issues dealing with other kitties we've tried to bring home. She just beats on them until they run away, much to my chagrin because I love kitties. If Susie had a vehicle, it would be a Harley.
I hope you get your kitties to behave bro.

We had issues like that in the past. Get a water bottle and poke a hole in the cap. Every time he gets manly, spray him as much as you can to interrupt his pushy time (naaaawww pun intended brah) and show him whos boss.

Anyone own a munchkin?
We had one in the house, but my sister took it with her when she moved out (her kitty). I'll have to find a picture when i get home.
They suck because of their short life expectancy, and ours had slight eye problems. So it was a slow moving, but loved attention.

Ive had the 3 tier one for years, got it at costco.
the new one is here, cheap as hell:
...well crap. I only got it last week. it was a Armarkat Cat Tree from petsmart.com. Was $97 shipped. Not the greatest quality in the world (thin shelves and thin carpeting, exposed screws) but for the price...
they dont seem to have this same one online anymore, a few simliar ones for $110.
also ordered two of these in nutmeg: Cat Furniture and Perches: Window Cat Perch by Drs. Foster and Smith
one two of these guys, in large: Litter Mats: Large Cat Litter Mats Trap Cat Litter for a Cleaner House at Drs. Foster & Smith

My kitties deserve better than my carpentry/stapling skills. when you too become a 1%er, you will learn it's worth-while to spend a little money instead of wasting valuable time.
Yeah, there are cheaper window perches for sure, but I wanted well-built, sturdy, decent looking ones for my fat cats.
