Everyone around me is hating on Lesnar right now. I say he earned that after barely escaping Carwin in the first round.

My only problem is his size. He is NOT a heavy weight fighter. He cuts huge weight to get down and barlet makes it at that. If Randy Couture in his prime cut 20 pounds and went down to middle weight it wouldn't have been a fair fight either.

Carwin should have gone total ape-**** the entire first round, he doesn't have the stamina to fight past the first 5 minutes

Both Carwin and Lesnar cut weight to make the 265 lb limit.

Not Lesnar for this fight, due to his illness and diet:

That's what he did, and that was his mistake. When his stamina started flagging when he was on top, he should have conserved energy, used elbows instead of fists, and perhaps just sit on Lesnar.

I cannot stand Lesnar either way, and there is a lot of controversy surrounding his "illness" either way, yes he has to cut a lot of weight to make the cut. Fedor and him should just fight already.

He eased up on him when he had him covering his head, instead of just finishing him off

I don't think he had the energy to finish him off.

Props to Lesnar - he's a proven champ now.

The whole event was full of pretty good fights. Never would've pegged Lesnar for winning by submission.. but hey, I guess you take what you can get. Major props to him for surviving after that crazy upper cut too.

I just got home and the file is downloaded! I would expect Lesnar to win, so it didnt really ruin it for me so much.

Going to watch it now before I head out for the night.
