I've been looking at purchasing some property recently and found a log home for sale. It's in a very attractive location and the price is hard to beat. The logs seem to be at least 10" wide. I know nothing about log homes, I may not even know the right questions to ask. The questions I have so far are, how does one maintain a log home? Besides carpenter bees, what should I look out for? Does a dry climate really hurt them?
