My gf ran a red and totalled a mustang. The subaru was fine, I drove it home. Needed a fender and headlight and a kink pulled out of the hood. The mustang was obliterated.

It happens but i'm sure she'll never make that mistake again.

The bus drift @ :40 was pretty badass. Some of those were pretty horrific, but the one where the pedestrian just stops, watched the vehicle go bay at like 70, looks up the road again, then continues walking was pretty awesome.

That last one... the reason I will probably never get a bike. Also the firetruck vs firetruck was pretty insane.

******* retards! Guaranteed. I would kill anyone that injured any family member of mine as a result of running a red light. Premeditated, the works. ChuckyZ wouldn't have **** on me.

My friends passed around this gay video on facebook today. Got me thinking.

That second video makes me even more irritated. It's not hard to be a careful and safe driver, yet so many people are just too careless. Almost as bad as the people running the lights are the people who aren't observant enough while driving and actually hit them. I spend as much time or more scanning for what other idiots are doing as I do actually driving, which has kept me from having many accidents from other peoples stupidity. Many of those the people had plenty of time to react and avoid, but they just plow right into them without ever seeing them. The one at 4:35 was my favorite, one ******* causes like 6 insurance claims.

Texting is illegal on all the Army/AF bases I have been on. The MPs get pretty ---- about that **** and it's awesome. I know on my way down from Chicago to TX I saw a million don't text while driving signs. Is there a list of what states it's illegal to text/talk on a phone while driving?

..nm here is the link.

http://www.ghsa.org/html/stateinfo/l...hone_laws.html

This should be country wide, at the least:
Texas has banned the use of hand-held phones and texting in school zones.

Last year I was hit by a guy with a red left turn signal coming in the opposite direction turning in front of us. My Father in law, mother in law, wife and I were in the car. Green light for us before we reach the intersection. Just as we get there the guy decides to run the light and pulls out directly in front of us. No chance to avoid it.

Few years ago my wife is stopped at a red light. Guy is looking down changing the radio station and plows into the rear end of her car doing 40. Never touched the brakes. Didn't see the red light or her.

Here's what happens when traffic comes to a stop on a freeway and a bus driver isn't paying attention.

Most people don't realize that their 3000 pound car travelling at 60mph has a fuckload more energy then a 10 gram bullet travelling at 700mph.

And yet the irrational fear prevails of one, while think nothing of the other.

That bus driver looked like he gave up on trying to brakes after about 3 or 4 cars. Maybe he was too stunned to find the brake. Dumbass. It always scares the **** out of me when interstate traffic stops quickly, only because people behind me almost always never see traffic slowing and close on my *** at high speed and slow down at the last second.

No offense to you, FM or Keith, but that (from the looks of it) is quite possibly the worst street cage design I could imagine.

FM didn't claim it was a street cage, viperormiata did, because his father is also his uncle.

Quoting FM's description:
"As used on the Track Dog and the Targa Miata, these cages are for racing. They`ll not only make a Miata as crush-proof as possible, they`ll also make it extremely rigid. They`re not a good plan on the street due to the proximity of the bars to your head though."
