I just went to the Formula D event in Wall NJ this past weekend. It was pretty good, but not as good as the event I went and saw in Irwindale.
I wasn't really into it though this last time around. I actually left at the mid-day break this last time. My friend liked it though, and I only really went because she wanted to. I was getting bored after the first couple runs.

I was also hung over, plus 3 hour car rides aren't my favorite, so that definitely contributed to my mood. I did like the one run when the guy smashed the **** out of the car on the first heat.

FD has really lost it's "edge". The first couple events at Road A were some hardcore door-to-door battles with kick-*** cars....now it's 36 350Zs, a few S-chassis cars and those terrible tCs. The drivnig wasn't as 'on-edge' as it has been....and the people in the stands are getting dumber and dumber. But i'll enter for ***** and giggles...and if I win, i'll tell Foresberg to his face how ugly his car is

The crowd was dumber than dumb. I felt like I was at a high school pep rally filled with toolbag kids and their parents.
Here's some shots I took from the Wall event.

So you were at Wall this last event? Did you see the miata in the parking lot that had the Bomex front bumper? I took a quick peek at it, but it looked stock other than wheels, bumpers, paint, and a style bar.

Are you talking about that STi? His car was wrecked I don't know why he kept trying to drive on a rim with no tire. The track marshall picked up a piece of his broken wheel and threw it behind the barrier where we were standing, but he wasn't paying attention and almost hit me in the head with it! Luckily I saw it coming and ducked haha.
