Default Megasquirt prep... everything out!!!

Yup, AFPR, Fuel Pressure Gauge, 305's, Walbro... took about an hour but it's all out and back to stock. Even the orignial blue-tops are back.

I took it for a drive and I really don't know if I'm gonna make it until my MS gets here. It's slower than my Dodge truck (by a lot). It's a little louder now that most of the exhaust is bypassing the turbine.

But I'm still making about 3-3.5psi based on the gauge, although it won't rev worth a ****. It's smooth and sounds good.

Only thing left is Bipes and O2clamp... after lunch. We'll see how it goes when I get all my timing back.

My 550's arrived... they look bad... gonna send them to Witchhunter on Monday (are Post Offices closed on Veterans Day?).

Could you not have kept the walbro just so you know you had a good quality fuel pump?

^Could have, but tested the stocker and it's plenty strong (for now).

Everything shipped this afternoon via Fedex.

Indeed, and thank you.

Don't forget to slap a NoFear sticker on the MS case.

Just to clarify, I am an Army Contractor. I have 67 days before I complete my 3rd year over here and return CONUS.

I love it... "contractor".
He means Professional ***-Kicker and Taker-of-Names.

Ahh, I see. I'm sure you're counting the days!

Sam - I don't know what he does, but all of the contractors I've ever worked with were professional Wire-Runners and Fixers-Of-Networks.

I was approached to help with structured wiring and other low voltage needs. I declined.

Sam, the company you are probably thinking of, which is located about 20 miles south of you, declined my application. How can I put this? They said my *** was too wide. I have done work for “that” company before, but only state side and before they grew as large as they are now. My trade is heavy vehicle maintenance, and one of my houses is 6 miles east of “that” company.

^Roger... figured you bein' in NC and all.
Well, glad I didn't end up blowin' your cover. The military stops dead in it's tracks (literally) without the wrench turners!

Threadjack in progress (my own thread):
What kind of tools you use Milton... brand-wise?

My squadron is huge on Snap-On.

Sam,
I have all ways been a fan of Snap-On tools. That is until I have to reach in my wallet and pay for them. More then once I have asked my local snap-on dealer for a kiss (since he had already screwed me). I am not one of the “Ford is better then Chevrolet” type when it comes to tools. I will use any brand that can hold up to daily use. Over the years that has included Snap-on, Mac, SK, OTC, and Craftsman. There is no doubt that Snap-on has the largest selection of specialty tools, and quite often there thin wall sockets, are the only ones that will work for a particular task. The company I work for here uses all craftsman tools, and I have had to heavily supplement my set with personal tools.
