I guess I should get it back together. I need to order 2 more pipes for IC and then figure out the intake and filter for the turbo. But I also have something special for you.

A nice 1996 E-350 extended van. Already has tinted windows to give off the creep vibe. Also it has no brakes, but those are totally not required for you life style, because we all know you don't slow down for nothing. It has working cruise control, not sure if AC works. Has the awesome tow package and gets a nice 8mpg when towing a miata around. New front shocks with less then 500 miles on them. I don't think the side or rear doors open from the outside, so no worry about anyone stealing your band equipment. The best part is, you can have it for $1 if you want it.

Exterior is a little beat up (damage on both bumper covers, some door dings & scratches), mechanically it's in great shape. Interior cleaned up well and is not too bad except for the upholstery coming off the back of the passenger seat. It'll probably go back on with some hog rings/zip ties, but I've never gotten around to messing with it.

The Odyssey had transmission problems from day 1, originally they used the Accord tranny and it wasn't really up to hauling the extra weight around. Somewhere around 2005 it got the Ridgeline tranny instead, and that basically fixed the problem. Our got a transmission flush every 30K, just from paranoia.

Photos here: no title

I posted it on CL asking $8500 as a starting point, but I'd take $7K.

no brakes? Hmm. Could we drill a hole in the floor so i could stick a pole through to slow the van down ? The harder i push on the pole the more it slows.

My neighbor's Toyota Sienna has been nothing but minor problems from the start, and most of them cost an arm and a leg. Crap like auto side door mechanisms failing. Dealer wants big bucks to fix. Parts are expensive, too.

I find it hard to believe it's a Toyota, because it is not very reliable, although it always runs.

C'mon, man. You've been around Miata-owners for long enough to know that's not how it works.

Well it looks like im buying Codrus's van. It's been his reliable family shuttle for 11 years. i think it will take me less than 24 hours to soil make it nice. Flying to sf and driving it back tonight. I think for mods i eill line the interior with sheet plastic and put in a heated blanket for two.

I meant SLAB CITY for valentines weekend. Old van will kablooie there, then.

Odyssey van is quite decent and Codrus is an upstanding dude. J35A6 motor is quite decent actually, the power comes in handy above 80mph Was an odd experience to drive a van in the rain that doesn't leak.

Am gonna do some "mods" to it actually- BT radio, window tint annnnd that'll do. That'll do.
