A friend of mine recently sent me these pics taken while she was visiting a local supermarket. The last set really kinda bothers me...


Ok, tongue is kinda icky, but it's semi mainstream.




Beef aorta? I have no idea what you make with this.




I've had chicken feet before. Very bony.




Boneless duck feet? What's left?




Intestine. Ok, it's basically scrapple.




Uterus? WTF recipe calls for uterus?





But this is the one that kills me. "Meat." That leaves a great deal open to the imagination.

 

...Is it me or does that uterus look like pretty nice meat?

Oh, yeah it is. If God hadn't intended man to eat animals, He wouldn't have made them out of meat. Mmmmmmm....Meat.

I did notice that it was an oriental grocery. See below.

 

Some of their meats are pretty questionable, but Oceanic Oriental is pretty baller.

 

That's even better than the Mexican grocery I go to. There are whole pigs heads, pigs butt with the tail, hair and all, pig ears, glands, etc.

When I was in China I was at a seafood restarant with all sorts of live seafood. My favorite looked a lot like an intestine but it was moving around! ewwww...

 

Sliced pork uterus, Deep fried at my next super bowl party. Looks like Calamari, but its pork. Its the other, other, other, other, white meat.

 

I'd hit it.

This is the closest thing to "got uterus?" I could find.

Meat is good. The food chain exists for a reason. Peanut butter is not a meal.

I don't think it was sea cucumber. I've seen plenty when diving or snorkeling. These looked just like that pork intestine. Not rough on the outside.

Damn. Lost my appetite again. Better look at that steak some more.
