As for whiskey, I just finished my bottle of JD honey whiskey; I am not sure if I like my whiskey sticky.

How much of your booze comes in plastic bottles, Joe?

As much of it as possible without going blind.

Though, to be fair, the only plastic bottle in that specific image (aside from the cooking oil) is the Heaven Hill. At $21, that's the second least expensive 1.75 on the shelf. The Bacardi silver is the least expensive, but I don't drink that straight.

Perhaps this is overpriced for Joe's penny-bottle stash, but I just picked up some Dickel no. 12 and am very pleasantly surprised at how drinkable it is.

It is $23 / 750 at the state run store. They sell it in larger bottles. 1.75L is $42. It's a Tennessee whisky and has a nice mellow sweetness.

I bought some of that Benchmark bourbon. FYI it's only 80 proof.

I bought a handle because it was on sale and I liked the last bottle I got. First glass tasted like absolute scheiße. I blame the bottle of Eagle Rare that I had been working on since I got it for Christmas as a gift. And flamesuit on, but I like all my bourbon on the rocks and letting it melt a little. Benchmark just needs to be diluted a little more before the alcohol gives way to the other flavors.

Had a Bulleit Bourbon with honey, lime and cinnamon last night as a cocktail. Incredible drink.

I like my drinks chilled, regardless, so there is always ice in my bourbon. I do prefer the large ice spheres that don't melt as fast, though.

That sounds more like the King thread.

And by "incredible," I presume that you mean "lacking credibility as a serious whisky."
