Lol, i suppose that's true. The difference is, the information here is usually easy enough to be found if you know how to search. When you do find it, it is usually trustworthy because we put pressure on people to prove that they know what they're talking about.
Pirate 4x4 was probably the best source overall, but it took hours of sifting to come up with the information I posted above.

My buddy and I almost bought one from Cali for 500 bucks. We don't have smog up here, and it had a bunch of back registration because it didn't pass smog. You can bring that up to Oregon and it won't cost you a dime. Sadly we missed it by a day.

Yeah, i've seen it. I'm very jealous. I'm considering buying a Comanche roller to dump everything from my Cherokee of Rarity into, but then it seems a little silly to destroy The Cherokee of Rarity in this manner.
But i dunno. I have a list of things i think i'd rather have than that Cherokee, much as i like it. A Comanche with full late XJ running gear is on that list of things.

Let me know. I've got an address available for registration lol.

Do you have rolling classic dates at least? Here its only exempt after 72, washington has a rolling 25 year rule.

CA claimed they were going to roll but the hard date is stuck with 1974. If its a 74 you are exempt, if its a 75 you are boned. My Bronco was a 74, my Triumph is a 74, my dentside is a 73 and my volkswagen was a 72 and my first and second Mustangs were 65 and 66 respectively. You'll notice a theme here
