Only way it wouldn't suck was if you threw money at it to fix it from the get go... Oki cars all suck. Imagine having a car live in an environment that's constantly hit with severe flooding and its right in the middle of the ocean. Everything is rusted to ****. Any decent car has to get imported, or you need to find a good owner selling their car.
Had to ship my FD from mainland (and even then, I found signs of rapage) , and I'm shipping my miata that I'm buying from Mainland as well. Only way to get a car with as little rust as possible, and it isn't raped and abused by the americans.

That reminds me of the old "GRIP" street racing/JDM videos circa like 2001. There was a whole segment featuring Americans in Japan with 180sx drifting in the snow and hitting **** in the mountains.
Does anyone else remember those videos? They are where that original NSX wangan clip came from. I still have the DVDs somewhere.

House in VaBch doesn't have a yard big enough to warrant riding mower and I don't have an out-building or shed to keep it in.
