Update:
Today I got bored and did some small things.. finished patching up my mirrors and ****. I also started on my CarPC dash. Here's a teaser. The options are as follows:
1:Put the screen in the double din/HVAC up top/ move radio elsewhere
2:Put the screen in the double din/ radio up top/ move HVAC elsewhere
3:Screw it.. make a custom dash piece and move both the damn HVAC and radio
Here's a rough setup... my dremel ran out of juice. Damn bat packs

So the VPC/ AFPR/ MSD/ and 305s came out and the MSquirt and the 550s went in this weekend w/ help from scott in the crazy heat. Pics to come, but it was interesting to see what was all found stored in my dash.... we removed the dash panel and found a CD changer controls, tons of wires.. and an air fuel gauge.. old school edition.
Planed the exhaust mani to turbo connection.. and ultimately everything worked great... except the mani->head is warped. Now I need to tear it all back down and take it to be planed. Oh well
Scotts got some of the more interesting pictures... and yes I started to clean my engine bay (and hood)

Yeah having a white car definitely does not help on the engine bay. If you look over where the washer fluid reservoir is you can see this yellow foam **** that the previous owner sprayed ALL over.. I dont know WHAT it is.

So I finished sinking the housing into the dash panel. Now I need to bondo in the housing and flush it. Also need to fill in the gap at the bottom since I'm doing the center console delete. Good thing Kool cigarettes sent me a DVD of some bullshit.. I can use the case for spare plastic.
For those interested in doing a center console delete here is a site to get the proper carpet:
http://www.automotiveinteriors.com/ - They sell auto carpet by the yard which comes out to an 18x72 slab for 16+shipping.
Here are the cuts you need to make:

The CarPC can run anything. For example: GPS via USB, additional harddrive space via USB. I will probably run a USB hub into the dash for easy plug in. As of right now my 4 USB ports will look like this:
1: touchscreen input
2: biometric reader
3: Wireless Keyboard (I hate onscreen keyboards)
4: Open for USB
I believe I'm going to start with approximately 60GB space to see if thats enough. Keep in mind, music videos get bulky (70 mb a pop). I ran a 40 gb hard drive on my Lexus CarPC and it filled up fast with my 100ish music vids and 3k songs.

Heres todays update on the carPC:
The custom dash is pretty much done... I fabbed up a piece for the center console removal so theres not a gaping hole. Funny story: I needed plastic to use as a base before I bondoed everything up to make it look OEM. So I'm looking around and I see this damn DVD that came in the mail from KOOL (who said cigarettes are useless). Being as how I'm not a gangster rapper, I figured I didn't need "The art of 16 bars". Heres a pic of the skeleton.. i'll post the bondo pics tomm.
