Default Need Paypal help

Hey gays, so I ran into a problem that a fair bit of other paypalers have run into - my account was banned.

When I was 13, I made an account with Paypal. The account had 27 cents in it from some random thing and was never used again. Having forgotten about that account, I created a new one 4 years later with my new email address and new everything.

It was banned for multiple accounts. At this point, I wasn't too angry - what they did could be justified - multiple accounts logged from 1 IP with differing information could be seen as a threat.

What bugs me is that, in the email I recieved when the ***-reamed me, they stated that the money in my account would be held for up to 45 days. It has now been 70 some days. I cannot get the money out. On top of that, when I try to call in, I get a "line busy" notice and it just beeps. I sent a couple of emails and none of them have been responded too. They have literally stopped communicating with me. The money in the paypal is not mine - I owe it to someone, I sold some stuff for them and I have to get it out.

And then, joy of joys, what happens? My father's account gets banned too, for "fraudulent credit card activity", or some bullshit like that. Likewise as they have done with me, they won't communicate with him either. He gets the same error message on the phone. The difference between him and me though, is that he has used that account pretty much since Paypal came out, thousands of dollars worth of funds have travelled through it, and there has NEVER been ANY issue with it at all. And they just up and banned him.

I'm really unsure of what to do from here on out. I can't communicate with them at all, the amount of money in my account isn't really worth taking to court or anything. Any thoughts?

Man that rally sucks. I can't offer any personal experiences with being screwed by them, but here's a link that may be helpful at least in the area of more contact info:

http://www.paypalsucks.com/faqs.shtml

You may already know about that site but I wanted to toss it out there just in case.

Find out where they are located and take out your anger on them.

Having multiple accounts isn't a problem.

I have 4 PayPal accounts and have logged into all of them on the same computer multiple times. Never an issue.

I've never called their support line and didnt get an answer, and sometimes I call them on a weekly basis.

Are you sure your on the correct PayPal site and not a fraudulent one? Do you see the "PayPal, Inc." lock on the right side of the address bar?

I cant see why your father's would get banned as well. That makes no sense. I would assume foul play if all this is going on, and not on PayPal's part.

Good point, I have 2 active accounts as well, one Personal, and one Premier. Each is associated to a separate bank account.
