LoL, well I just tried to go back onto their board to say "bring it on" and they have already banned me! WTF?? They are too ******* ***** to even finish an argument. I'll try to re-register, but if not someone else should register and show them the quote they said about other mods allowing arguments. It would be even better if one of our mods registered on their forum...

Damn it!! You made me go and look! Now I'm even stupider.

So what do you think is better - a Miata or a nice Chlamydia infection?

The thing that gets me is that they don't even get that good of mileage. A diesel Volkswagen is a far better option. 50+ mpg and at least they're torque-monsters, can be fun to drive, and look pretty damn good to boot.

what amazes me about the TDi is they can be quick chipped w/injectors but still get milege when you keep out of it. Neat cars.

I still want a Diesel rabbit or something. I can't afford a newer one. The old ones go for a grand once in a while though.

I know a guy with a 98 Passat wagon TDI, and its chipped/injectors/intake, and its surprisingly quick, and can get 45-48 mpg. The cool thing is not having to downshift when you want to pass. Low end torque is a new concept to me... neat!

I read a couple of threads - best one was about how adding a chassis brace made the Prius handle as well as a CIVIC HYBID.

Dream big, I say.

wernt there some honda's back in the 80's getting 40-50 mpg?

after 30 more years of development they only come up with the prius?

my buddy has a old old rabbit, dont know the year, it has 40 horses and gets over 70 mpg and his jetta from i think early 90's has 60 horses and it gets 60 mpg. we never have to fill those things up and they make great low end. why would i pay 14 times the price to get somthing that comsumes near the same amount of gas?

after driving a prius i have to say i feel like i am driving a computer around, it even feels retarded behind the wheel, more or less seeing one in your driveway.

everything > prius

My old '77 Civic easily got 33 mpg or more and it only had a 4 speed manual.
