But if we legalize Marijuania, it will start a chain-reaction...Ectasy isn't harmful....Shrooms aren't harmful....etc. I say we just enforce what we got on the books already and after some potheads spend a few months in the new jail system, they won't need rehab, cause the high would never be worth the time.

And I've never smoked pot. Been stuck in a room with some friends who were, that's as close as I got. I prefer natural highs, it's free, no side-affects.

Bullshit, there is documented scientific evidence that those other drugs you mention has some serious affects. There is also plenty of research that will tell you weed is no more harmfull than cigs and alcohol. People that have never used maijuana always resort to this inaccurate arguement because they don't know any better. And for the record, I don't use drugs of any kind. I did as a teenager but I'm 45 now and haven't since I was 17.

Just because you don't smoke pot doesn't mean someone else doesn't want to. And what is it to you for those who do smoke it? Did they hurt you in any way?

Now Ectasy on the other hand can have the potential to kill you on the first try. Those more hardcore drugs could be sold but in much lower quantities. IDK, I understand the concern but seriously, more drunk drivers kill people than drug users.

And if we ever decided to read history, the big Mafias of the past all had their hand in when there was prohibition. I bet they wouldn't have had the power so quickly those laws were not enacted. Lots of people wanted their booze then. Lots of people want their drugs now. Who supplies them? The same ones that chop off heads at the border.

I say the government should legalize weed, and they be the only ones to sell it. That way all the dope smokers can help pay into the system to pay for ****. The government could make a killing. They could tax the crap out of the stuff and fund the transportation system.

I don't smoke, don't drink, don't smoke weed, never tried it, never will. However, I don't care if other peeps do.

This is the stupidest thing I've ever read. I've never smoked crack but I know it's bad m'kay. I don't have to have experienced it to have an opinion about it. Did you have to take a dick in the *** to know for sure how you felt about it?

And? I'm not here to argue about legalizing marijuana. I just said I wasn't gonna start legalizing stuff that is currently illegal. Faces of Death is illegal in alot of states, but I'm not about to go and tell them they have to change it just cause I thought it was a pretty funny movie. There would be TONS of laws we could change, but I'm not gonna get into that.

For the record:
Most of my friends do pot. I just don't hang out with them when they do, and they know they aren't to do it around me. Same goes for drinking and smoking. I'm not gonna make alcohol and tobacco illegal, even though I am 100% against it.

In California anyway, it most certainly is. The colonel's daughter thought she was going to die after she underestimated the potency of Vern's state-issue and partook a bit too deeply.

Right, and a delusional and paranoid mass public is totally what we need...

The difference is that Marijuana is mind altering to a level that makes them dysfunctional. Similar to Alcohol. Think about how much money is spent just trying to keep drunk drivers off the streets, now double it. It's potentially more cancerous that cigarettes (no one has any paper filters on em yet), and it really almost comes down to more of a matter of principle.

People already smoke weed and drive. I think it's funny that people think because weed is illegal not many people use it. Double it, please. Making weed legal will not change much as far as how many people use it. More cancerous than cig? where are you getting these fact from? Paper filters? if it were legal there would be paper filters. Those paper filter work so well on tobacco cigs that people are getting less cancer from smoking...yeah right.

When was the last time you read about some guy robbing a bank, committing a violent crime, going on a shooting spree or starting a bar fight and killing someone because they were smoking weed?
