My driver window doesnt go up!
But it goes down, i can hear the motor when i push down on the button. It would take a few try to get it to go up, but now it wont do it at all. And I need to get it to go up for the track tommorrow, or they wont let me race. I took the switch thing apart on the arm rest, and it all looked clean, Is there anyway else i can bring that SOB up?

Take the door panel off and manually pull it up after assesing if you can do this by hand with or without removing the regulator/motor.
Having all kinds of tough times lately eh?

Do I have to take EVERYTHING off the door?

sucks, i cant get my boost control working ... and I really dont want to spin my whole way through the 60ft lol. 8psi is enough for first gear, and 12 will be murder with all the camber im running. Regardless, I will be there tomorrow to run my car so see ya tomorrow.
Do like I did, take the door off and make two sections out of it by separating the "top" rounded portion from the flat bottom inner skin. Use velcro to hold the skin in place and just set the top into position and let gravity hold it there. I can get my door's inside off in less than 20 seconds...
..and yes, I want a cookie.

Ok, so i tried putting power to the motor, and nothing happend at all, i tired both wires too and nothing. i know the motor is good becuaase even tho is all the way down it still try to go down when you push down on the switch. any other ideas or input would be great
Doesn't the window move down using gravity? So if you pull the motor (or just loosen it a bit) and then slide the window up and put the motor back in place, that should work well enough for a track day, right? Just put some tape over the switch so you don't press it by accident.

And it didnt do anything
I dunno why. Im sure sure i did the right connector. The motor is bolted on with three bolts on the door right? like, to the top left of the speaker.
make sure to try the reverse of the ground and power.....
did you clean the switch according to this guide? http://www.miata.net/garage/CleaningSwitch.html
mine contacts were black...i had the exact same problem.
