That thread is bullshit. The kid did it himself to collect on the insurance. I did a project once for a psych class, and we did a lot of research on cults and fringe groups. The swastika is one of those things that people who "live" it don't **** up. Day one of Skinhead camp is "how to spot non-believers" and **** like that.

The one that's painted on the door is wrong. The other 2 that are carved in are correct... canted 45*, but the big one on the door... the one everybody is going to see and is probably gonna be on the news is akin to a Christian wearing his cross sideways... it doesn't happen. I call bullshit on the whole thing.

The kicker is that this is a fairly common insurance fraud tactic. Insurance companies usually retain an entire team of pro's for **** like this. He'll get caught and go to jail.

I will have to point out just because the swastika wasn't "properly" displayed on the vehicle doesn't necessarily mean automatically the kid did it himself.. Most likely it was done by someone who wanted him to THINK it was a Hate Crime or motivated by Racial hatred..

Also Don't forget there is more than one group in the world that wants to kill the Jewish...

true. there are plenty of ignorant people, who may not be skin heads but who would use a symbol like this just to terrorize someone.

A couple years ago there was a white highschool kid in the next county who got into a fight with a black kid from his school. He went to that kids house later that night and burned a cross on their front lawn. He was not a kkk member, just an idiot.

I'm no badass but I hear or see that happening to someone's car I'm calling the cops and I'm trying to get a license plate number for them. If there's a chance I'll be seen or threatened the shotgun's coming with me. I break up fights, call in drunk drivers and turn in shoplifters. Screw em.

There are a lotta people who have no clue how insurance works... some dipshit S2000 drivin' college student who blew his whole load on his carbon-fiber dick extender and then realized he needed to make tuition isn't all that bright to begin with. He gets desperate and drunk, and grabs a bat and a screwdriver... then he wakes up in the morning sober and realizes his story is a little thin... and goes out with a can of spraypaint before the neighbors wake up.

So initially, the insurance company tells him "sorry"...meanwhile there's a full-force ******* investigation going on. **** like that definitely makes it to the local police, who investigate hate-crimes pretty extensively. The kid is totally fucked. They'll find the can of spraypaint in his garbage with his fingerprints on it... or they'll have HomeDepot surveillance tape of him buying the paint... or one of his buddies will get picked up for weed and rat him out...

And I was very careful to simply say "whoever painted that swastika was not a skinhead/AN/****". And the whole point of vandalism like that isn't to go to a huge ******* extreme to mislead the victim. The guy said he has no enemies, so why would somebody trash his **** and then blame it on the *****? You'd think whoever did it would want the kid to know why... nothing adds up. Of course, we have almost zero facts, but the ones we have point directly to insurance fraud.

Sam you just got me thinking...

Going back over the list of **** that was done to this car, and looking at the photos... That took time and LOTS of it. Even if they had 3 or 4 guys doing it, look at the extensive list of damages..
Most suspect of all, the "Extremely Corrosive liquid" that was poured into his engine.. If they broke off parts from the engine physically and were pouring this "Extremely Corrosive liquid" in the engine (??) why bother with sugar in the gas tank? Also notice the complete lack of engine bay pictures? How does he know they poured something into the engine? Has he taken it apart to inspect this "Extremely Corrosive liquid" and its damages?

Also, I take back what I said about the car looking ugly as sin... Aside from the hardtop it was actually pretty decent. Could do without the fenders, but the hood and front bumper are sex..

Anyway, how many votes do we have for "wheeled car into garage, trashed it, then put back in the driveway to 'discover' in the morning?"
