I remember seeing pics of that, I really got the impression of a lets see if we can do it vs dyno queen.

still fab is impressive on some level. pretty much retarded after that.

It would be ridiculous for a street/daily-driven car, but for a fully-bespoke, '57 Chevy show car...why the **** not, right?

Yeah the point of it was full out show car. God i can't imagine that thing as a race or even daily car. Hell the front end would be redonculously heavy. It's an Iron block Chevy with 8 Turbo's up front. The last time I weighed mine it was 20 lbs..8 makes 100 plus you have to more than double that for all the piping. I saw fab pictures of it. They did a lot of test fitting with PVC. One of the most impressive things was the downpipe collector...it's a lot of crazy custom work. I don't think they ever inteded for it to be a monster...but it's one hell of a show stopper.

wouldnt the pulses from the single exhaust make the turbo very ineffecient?

I mean of course it would work but wouldnt it be like trying to bike with one leg or somthing?

Well sure..bike up one leg...with 8 bikes tied together though? I mean, sure only getting exhaust 1 out of every 2 strokes..but if it removes the worry of the exhaust gas colliding and such?...i imagine that's why they are small turbo's bigger than that and they'd take all of forever to spool.

I think it's cool. There's a video on their website of it on a dyno, everything starts to glow pretty quickly

I have no problem sticking 4 TD025's on a Miata, that is if someone wants to pay for it...
