They use govt since it takes ***** to actually do it in person. It's a whole lot easier to take from those you will never have to meet or face in person.

The dems who are gung ho for increasing entitlements don't seem to realize the govt is like a bad charity. It often takes more money to run a govt program than what the program actually distributes. Overhead is around 60% of the budget for the welfare administration. Remember that, any time you hear budgets quoted for various govt programs. When they say that 1 billion dollars is going to welfare, what they are really saying is 600 million is going to govt employees salaries, retirement, health care, buildings, offices, vehicles, etc. to distribute 400 million back to the people, families and crack ****** who need it.

 

If I had had any reservations about voting for her, the "compassionate" Democrats and their unfounded attacks against her have solidified my position.

I actually liked McCain. He seemed like that like-able, heavy drinking, womanizing, 1960's republican everyone loves. Reminded me of a politician straight out of Dr. Strangelove.

The "pro-life" arguement exists on both sides. there are plenty of "pro-life" democrats and personally I think it really only becomes a republican arguement due to people still attaching themselves to dumb religion.

This non-sense of "I'm worried she may end up pres if he dies!" #1 he would not be the oldest president in office. That belongs to Regan. #2 He is far from the most "beat up" or "sick" president. Hell i bet Mccain has better cholesterol than Clinton ever did. Besides all of that, Biden seems like he would stand more of a chance of being pres. given the amount of crazies running around. I predict attempts on his life.

The tax thing has always boggled my mind. You can't have things without paying for them! You want better education, roads, social services for the elderly, etc. it has to be paid for!!! Also, some of us are willing to pay taxes to help the poor, and to provide equal benefits and services to people. Plus the Republican "tax cuts" generally help the segment of the population that needs the least amount of economic advantage. Of course they give the bullshit line that a free market society requires you to support yourself, pull yourself up by your bootstraps and succeed on your own. This kind of macho **** obviously appeals to the majority of American males who are insecure about the size of their package. "I don't need that socialist crap, I'm a real man who can take care of his own self!" It's a nice ruse to distract you from the fact that this system allows them to hand out contracts to their CEO buddies who take away jobs and money from those same dick-conscious guys. But we all know that it's the fault of liberals and illegal immigrants right.....

On a related note, where the **** is this liberal media that you guys keep talking about??? To an actual liberal none of the **** I see on TV seems anything left of moderate, at best. No major news publication is overtly liberal either. Most of them are devoid of any real reporting and are heavily opinion based.

Also, how anyone in the military can think the Republican party gives a rats *** about them is beyond me. Think of all the **** that contractors are doing in Iraq that the Army used to do, better and cheaper. Now there's incentive to join one of these mercenary companies that have no oversight and no responsibility to take care of their employees whatsoever, no veterans services (though the Republicans have not made that a priority with the Armed Services anyhow), and little to support for the family in the case of a tragedy. They treat soldiers like a disposable product. Furthermore, are you aware of Mccain's record in terms of support for POWs? Not good.

 

What ******* country do you live in!!!!! Maybe, blacks have taken a backseat in terms of outright racism now that Latino immigrant bashing, and Middle-eastern fear mongering is in vogue. But, racism is institutionalized. Just because they're not made to sit in the back of the bus doesn't mean that they aren't subject to a host of social and economic roadblocks that white people will never have to deal with.

 

Y8s. Income comparison charts really only go so far. Truth be told there's more of an issue between men and women than there is black/white.

White women clearly have been on a steady incline but there are more women receiving degrees from univeristy than men. Of the 63,000 Black student degree's per year only 22,000 of them are black men. Of course the statistical average for a black male income is going to be less when only 3% of all degree receiving college graduates are Black males.


I'm not really sure what my saying I think there would be assasination attempts on Obama has to do with Mr Mazda's posts. I mean really, if Kennedy can get shot who "everyone" supposedly loved why not the first black president who half the country scorns?
