Address Gun Violence in Cities: Obama and Biden would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent.

psychedelics.
And I think you guys should be okay. The handgun ban in D.C. was JUST overturned and it's being called a precedent for similar laws around the U.S..
NRA and Bob Levy and crew will sue the **** out of any state/federal law attempting to put any real restriction on gun ownership; especially handgun. Debate as you will about what constitutes an assault rifle but imho I think it's silly a 18 year old can buy a AK47 and not a handgun in FL.

I have ADD when it comes to hobbies I get into lots of things and have little time to really commit to any of them.
Other than working/playing with the miata...
I've been playing the drums since the 4th grade.. so a long time.. I'm 22 now.
played in several different bands.. all of which have gone south. One of the bands from highschool had some music on purevolume.com for a while, I cant look now because the site is blocked at work. that band was called "Back For Tomorrow" think backstreet boys but with real instruments and bad singing.
I try to snowboard every other week..
I longboard/skateboard in the summer to offset some of the snowboard withdrawals.
Paintballing
Building/fixing computers
Fixing other peoples cars
Bought a mountain bike to try and get back into that.. didn’t work so well
Nitro RC cars
Wii fit is pretty badass..
Starting to get back into weight training
The list goes on and on
I work 10 hour shifts 7 days a week, every other week. not as cool as you would hope/think
If I had more energy on my week off I would have tons of other hobbies

This is unusual, but I'm very into the history of computers. Just as some people collect and fix up antique cars, there are thousands of people around the world who collect and fix up antique computers. We like the term "vintage" because if the machines are antique, then what does that make the owners who are even older? Most collectors focus on equipment from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s.
In addition to my personal collection, I'm the president of a user group for the hobby. It's called MARCH -- "Mid-Atlantic Retro Computing Hobbyists". We run a bricks-and-mortar computer museum on the NJ shore, where as much as possible we get the systems up and running, because it's quite boring to only imagine them doing something! We like to let visitors play games on an Atari 2600, program a Commodore 64, make the "blinkenlights" flash on an Altair, connect through a teletype to a PDP-11, punch some cards on an IBM 029 .... we also host a big, public event every summer called the Vintage Computer Festival East. It's a lot like an antique car show, except that every exhibitor is required to have their systems on and working. So imagine a car show where you get to test drive everything.
In addition to the collecting/restoring side, I'm also writing a book about one specific aspect of computer history, so that takes a lot of my time.
I spend summers going to Yankees games and winters going to Giants games.
As for the Miata, half my time is spent driving it, and the other half is spent harassing Paul for help fixing it!
