I agree, "National ID cards, warrantless wiretaps, cameras on street poles, show us your papers commoner!" are all bad things, hardly an invention of Obama or even Pelosi (you really give her that much credit?). I don't think you can hardly blame Obama for any of thoes at this point, give him at least a month in office LOL. I'd suggest the enemy you hate is the same as the friend you love. Our government industrial complex is ******* us from both isles. To blame one side while blinding yourself with the flag to the actions of the side you associate with is playing into the trap of the two party system.

You are right, (no pun intended) we are getting fucked from both sides. The republican party that used to stand for small government is no more. The left used to be worried about civil liberties but is no longer. I'm a libertarian myself. Do what you want as long as your rights don't infringe upon mine it's all good. Live and let live. You are right, I am over-simplifying by pointing the finger at Obama but he does stand for many things that I believe are horribly wrong. Gun control worked so well in Chicago (seen their murder rates lately?). He did great with public education as well. Ill has one of the highest dropout rates in the country. He's consistently voted left on every issue that has been brought before him including gun control. He likes affirmative action and in general has done everything he can to enable the "entitlement mentality" of the poor. Socialism doesn't work, gun control doesn't work (look at Canada, UK, England, all gun control failures). I lived in Delaware so I'm unfortunately familiar with Bidens track record. Just keep your eyes open folks.

I was south of Abu Dhabi last month.
I don't have a lot of time for hobbies over here (work, eat, sleep, repeat). Here is the short list wile i am state side.
1.working on my pilots license (passed the written test wile home in September)
2. making my airplane flight worthy again (last owner had an off field landing)
3. Flying my RC aircraft
4. fire arms of all shape and size ( my gun collection is worth more then my house, car, and plane)
5. amateur radio

Kotomile, if that question was addressed at me, the company I work for is based out of the UAE, and I fly there about 6 times a year. Though i have spend more then 4 years in the middle east, i have not been able to acquire the local tong.

You or Nicasus. I want to visit UAE, either abu DHabi or Dubai would be a fantastic trip. It would be a good opportunity for immersion in the language (Gulf arabs' dialect is closest to what I'm learning) plus the car culture there is insane.
