How do you fare? I typically get a refund, but this year I fucked up and apparently asked (without asking) my company to not withhold any federal tax, so I owe them a good bit. So much for a bit extra to go towards my turbo build fund.

I realise alot of you wont get around to this for some time though, I just like to be ahead of the crowd.

I always get around $1000 or so back. I make sure I pay a little extra in every week so we never have a problem come tax time.

God you people suck. First thing tomarrow Im going to the lady that does our payroll and kicking her ***, and tell her to start cutting me some fed taxes. First year since I started paying taxes to not get a return, and it hurts!

Getting around $3000 back or so. Along with the sell of a few things...should have enough to build my dream car.

For about 6yrs I paid no less than 4k, last few years were closer to 8k.
Last yr I got my first refund of 4k, should be the same if not a lil more this year.

You guys make everything so difficult, all you have to do is get married and have a kid...in the same tax year...

I get to deduct $22k from student loans off earned income, so hopefully I'll get something back.

I'm getting somewhere around $1300, which has already been spent on wheels and tires.

Is that 22k in interest you paid this year? I'm fairly certain that's the only part of the loan you can deduct (unless I'm seriously screwing up my returns).

my student loan payments are coming out of earned income I believe...but I'm not very good with thinking in general. I pay a hot-piece-of-*** to do my taxes because I don't like #'s, lol.

if you get back more than $250, you're a dumbass.

last time I checked, the government doesn't pay interest on your money.
