Still don't want an ACT Clutch? (SPEC FAIL)

This one is going to hurt the wallet........
When things go boom at 8000rpm in nascar turn 4 in Daytona the damage is alot. The pressure plate material decided it did not want to hold any longer and wanted out of the tranny.
Don't buy a SPEC clutch / PP..

About 1yr ago I called Spec to get the lowdown on their manufacturing due to a problem with my StgII Kevlar. Spec uses either an OEM or Exedy PP and make some modifications (which he would not elaborate on) to match better to their in-house discs.
My problem turned out to be operator error during install with improperly tightened PP bolts. I've been boosting up to 15psi through my StgII 1.6 and COULD NOT BE HAPPIER SINCE I R&R'd THE PP AND RE-TIGHTENED THEM AT 10lb INCREMENTS. Stock (or easier) pedal feel and butter-smooth engagement.
I would happily buy a Spec clutch again, but I will not be buying a Kevlar disc again... and there is a huge jump in performance and price between the Spec StgII and StgIII. I'll be going with ACT XTSS and be done with it.

I dont get why people keep makeing a big deal about these clutches.
I have a F1 racing stage 3 ceramic clutch. It has 15k miles, still holds and works perfect. I just took my time installing.
