Default Street Turbocharging By Mark Warner, P.E. (no affiliation book recommendation)

I just picked up Street Turbocharging by Mark Warner, P.E.
Design, Fabrication, Installation, and Tuning of High-Performance Turbocharger Systems.
Anyway, I got it for like $8 used on Amazon it was just printed in June 2006 so it has current info in it. Covers everything from manifold fabrication to Water Injection setups. It's relatively simple but covers alot of information indepth enough that you can get an idea and then continue research from there. It is similar to Maximum Boost by Corky but I like it more because it covers everything Corky doesn't and it isn't based on any opinion. (Not saying Corky's info in his book is anything but great.)
I suggest it to everyone, simply because its relatively cheap and has some great info in it that will keep you from having to find things through mass amounts of forums. (I still suggest reading your head off on the forums though, what else is there to life.)
Enjoy

Ya. The ol' man can be "biased" although I prefer to think of it as wisdom tempered with strong set of personal convictions. Mind you, I don't always agree with Corky myself either. Both books are good, but why read when you can just ask me.

Makes sense to just ask, I enjoy having the hardcopy on hand incase i need it quick in a build or something and who likes to get asked the same question all day long when they could read it somewhere else. I'll keep you in mind though.

Nothing like having multitude of resources to justify your mistakes.

Like to read his theory on intercooling verus Corky's.

I'd also like to see Corky's new calculations for intercoolers now that he's switched to the horizontal runners verus short veritcal runners.

That would be far better, i would love to have a serious tuner show like that strictly about turbocharging that came on once a week. One that doesn't spend half the show showing how to make custom subwoofer enclosures and flush mounting lcd screens in the rear seats.

That's what Redline TV is, they figured out how to drift fwds. And then there's NOPI - they've got burnout contests, nopi girls and NOS.:gay: You'd think there would be a show- something like "MuscleCar" or "Horsepower" but without the V8s. Remember the Honda Civic buildup? :gay: Just seems like there's a big enough market of four banger enthusiasts now- a lot of us were 20 a decade... or two ago.

Ya know- they're calling for a new host for some mystery show. Why not? It would give you more time to complete your doctorate. And once you did, you could practice on the set.

sideways- there's always utube.
