Agreed. She and Paul Potts are the real deal.

I think most people here in the US cannot appreciate the talent that Paul Potts has. Opera, yeah, but the dude can bring it. I think they both would have been voted off American Idol because they don't have the "look".

You know what is really fucked up. The clip show peoples reactions when she first comes out on stage, and before she even sings people already made up their minds. Then after the performance, these same people are on their feet cheering.

Am I the only one that thinks this is wrong? Judging people right off the bat like that. Is it that hard to keep an open mind.

That is human nature, to judge the book by it's cover. Check out Paul Potts audition on YouTube, when he tells Simon that he is there to sing Opera. Simon's face tells the same thing.

After he sang Nessun Dorma, that dude could have gotten into Amanda Holden's pants if he wanted. She was swooning. Awesome stuff.

 

Another great example of how the majority of people go through life holding onto their blind perceptions. Good for her.
